Topic title says it all. I want more armor sets to be able to mix and match. The main problem is that I can’t equip one of the many cool helm skins with an outfit.

They said they won’t be making any armors for the gemstore anymore, outfits are going in the gemstore, armors will be obtained ingame

So you want more armor sets in the game, why do you want them to be on the BLTC and not in-game?

Devs already said that in HoT you will get armor as a rewards for doing stuff and outfits from the gem store.

Wouldn’t you rather have more armor in game that you earn rather then having to buy? Ask for that instead. People need to let ANet sell their outfits and quit asking for gemstore armor.

We received one armour skin in PvE and one in PvP in the last 2 years, HoT expectations aside that’s a pretty crummy fact. At least the with the gem store we’d get new skins every couple of months without the complications of lore and all that jazz required to introduce it.

A mixture of in-game and gemstore armour skins would have been a better way forward than outfits.

Guessing that most armor skins will be sold for BL tickets same as weapons.

No! No more armor skins in the gem store. Outfits are fine there, but armor belong in game. Thankfully we have had confirmation that henceforth armor will be an in game reward to work towards, and outfits will be in the gemstore.

I understand that you want more armor skins, OP. So do I, but they need to be something we work for in our game play. Not something we either just grind out gold or credit card our way to.

I think most of them are pretty terrible, especially on my Charr. The rascal medium armor set is pretty easy to get and looks much better, especially with appropriate dye. My $0.02.

The wedding, noble count, jungle explorer (can do a lot with that one), hexed, witch, Wintersday outfit, emperor (Asura and females only) are all great I think. They’re either tasteful, elegant, classy, awesome, or cool depending on which one.

They didn’t have the policy of armor being only in game and not gemstore till fairly recently so of course most new armor was gemstore armor. Then there is the consideration that ingame armor requires new content to earn it. Since there hasn’t been new content since they decided to go the expansion route, then again, no new ingame armor since that decision.

At least they released shoulder and gloves…for a very limited time where you needed to grind constantly while receiving no drops, experience, silver, or karma in addition to spending 10 gold a piece on top of the countless grinding where the gold simply vanishes rather than circulates.

Each time this comes up. Agree +100 more armor versus outfits please. Prefer clipping issues verus not being able to mix and match.

I want to see armor sets in the actual game, so i am fine with them focusing on outfits on the store and armors ingame.

Of course I also want Anet to create new armors outside the BLTC, but because it’s unavoidable that they release new sets in the BLTC to earn some extra money (in the form of outfits now). I just want those to become armor again instead of outfits.
