Can we get some more guild armor skins. Having just the one really limits how many people are going to opt to wear it, depending on whether you like the design or not (I don’t :P). Some variety would be great.

I think they should focus guild rewards more on showing off your guild and guild emblem. Guild is about honor.

They did this and go back a month or two and see what happened. People complaining that they want compensation in gems or their gold back for human t3 armor. Needless to say let’s not re use skins and have this fiasco over again.

i for one would have liked the heavy guild armour to be plate mail rather than scale – if it costs 1g i think it should be worth worth 1g

Indeed, that is some pretty awesome looking armor. I’d show that off. It looks like multi-tiered pieces of intricately-layered and reinforcing plating. It appears lightweight and sturdy, yet durable and effective at defending against attacks. It’s very well designed.

At the beginning we only had the the guild armor, the guild weapons and the ability to present our guild banner at forts in WvW.

We got some updates with the guild backpack, guild banner potion and the guild kite, but these are still not for everyone.

Now the thing is: They dont have to be seen in a great way.
Many people just want to put their guild on their armor, just knowing it to be there.

This could simply acomplished with some dedicated emblem places on each armor.
They could start with the basic body armor, alowing us to put a patch with our emblem on it.

Then they could expand it to others, maybe on leg armor, which would allow the emblem being on the skirts. For armor with a lot of things dangling on the belts, they could have one piece of leather dangling around with the guild emblem.

Furthermore they could make it an update to the crafting system.
Allowing high lvl crafter to update existing armor with an guild emblem spot, wit a bit of aditional items (depending on the armor type)

Of course since giving away your armor would not be working with the current system, you would have to do it yourself, however new crafted armor could be sold with a guild emblem ability, creating a “refined” version of the allready existing armor piece.

it would be something to put in some meat into the crafting system and would allow us to display our guild a bit more, without looking to silly (which in the end depends on the guild emblem. We cannot fight against the rainbow unicorn guild with pink and green emblem ) and breaking the imersion.

That was only a problem because they made a cultural set of armor available to different races.

Introduce capes like in GW1.

This is exactly what I had in mind! Doesn’t need a dedicated massive space on the chest, maybe a smaller spot on the shoulder? Or chest pocket? Doesn’t need to be overly visible, just there.

Capes, well capes could assist in this – it’ll ensure one very clear spot regardless of logo placement on the other pieces (although I probably wouldn’t wear it)

For heavy armor, the banded set works best, I have no clue on the other sets though, sorry. I would really like to see more guild weapons we could buy, or even better, have them reworked. I love how the Guild Defender looks when compared to the actual guild shield skin.

Imo it should be possible to display your guild logo on all existing armors. Not make a seperate armor for it.
