More in our future, maybe, kinda, hopefully?
Well.
I always thought with every coming x-pac they’ll release 1 or 2 new ghs…
that means – if there are more x-pacs – and… if they add anything in that direction anyway.
I would assume that at least one new hall comes with each xpack, if not multiple halls, as well as new guild upgrades each pack so you have something new to add to your hall even if you don’t like the new ones or want to move.

For what it’s worth: GW1 has 8 guild halls in the style of Prophecies and 4 each in the style of the other two campaigns. Some of the GH were introduced with the Eye of the North Expansion.
Clearly the GW1 halls are very simple compared to those of GW2. For example, you can’t decorate in GW1 and there are only a dozen or so customizeable functions to be added, all represented by NPCs. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if GW2 halls require 10x as much effort to create.
Summarizing:
- GW1 has “only” 16 guild halls, released across 3 stand-alone games + 1 expansion across 2 years.
- GW2 has “only” 2 guild halls, released in the first expansion, across less than a year.
- The GW1 halls are simplistic compared to those in GW2.
tl;dr two GHs seems like “a lot” — I can’t imagine we’ll get more until an expansion comes out.
