Any one know why there is only one class that has access to lightning fields?

I understand its a pretty strong field with area swiftness and daze, but wouldn’t it help with class diversity a bit if more of these were available to other classes.
Like you could give it the ranger for their storm spirit, and engineer for their bombs or turrets.
Making this suggestion for these classes because you can fit the theme in pretty easily than other classes.

I would give a lightning field to engis, but they have to transform into Ming and scream “CHARGE THE LIGHTNING FIELD!”
