So it would appears the evil genius that many people are bored/sick of is up to no good (Again!!) in this new content (even in Fractals, the place of paralleling realities!) In light of this pattern of revelation, I have indeed reasonable reason to suspect she is the one behind the awakening of the dragons. What do you think.

Not for this lead writer woman though. She already stated that Scarlett is her favourite
character and she seems a bit fond of her, erm, let’s call it ‘writing abilities’ so
expect a lot more of miss cookie cutter joker knockoff.

If it actually turns out that Scarlet is behind the waking of Zhaitan and the other Elder Dragons, I have to say I will be disappointed.

I did not play GW1, but when I got into GW2 I looked up a lot of things about the lore and read the wiki, and I found it all very cool. Scarlet doesn’t really hold up to villains like Zhaitan (as disappointing as the fight against him is, he’s still a really cool villain).

I’m still hoping she is being manipulated by an Elder Dragon, and not trying to wake them or anything that would go the other way around.
