Guild Wars 2

The flower that you climb to start this out seems to be dead. I cannot go up it. Is there something I am missing I have never seen it like this before.

There’s a dynamic event that takes place in the area, that if it fails will do that to the tree. The event needs to be completed successfully to restore it.

:( I never knew that. I followed some guy down there and completed some mission.. I guess there is another part I need to find.

Just go back later, in time the flower will come back to life.

You have to defend against 7 waves of the undead, once you’ve done that you take a petal or flower from the skillpoint thing and it regrows.

If you go south west from there, towards the glade, there is a dynamic event top escort a sylvari to the spiral to restore it.

you can get up it while it’s dead, but it’s tricky :-)

The OP probably ended up doing the JP, but for those that might be in the same situation : the NPC that triggers the event can be found to the south/south-west of Morgan’s Spiral and it probably got killed along the way.
