Guild Wars 2

Hi all,

I would like to know what to you think guys. Currently i searching for a mostly pvp profession which is tricky to play. I mean:
- tricky to use and revarding
- high learning curve: takes time to learn
- tactics needed: not face-to-face smash,

As i saw profession i think just two profession do that: Thief or Mesmer.
Regarding to what i wrote, is that two are same? (yes i know thief is melee and mesmer is a caster – but my question is oriented to gameplay!)

Mesmer is pretty faceroll just go phantasm and let NPCs do 99% of your work.

Thief isn’t that hard either and it’s my main, in fact no profession is except maybe warrior since you have to be top of your game to excel with one in pvp. You get a challenge and the up side is you’re OP in pve.

Warrior seems a little boring.

engineer probably has the most button clicks due to kit swapping

Yeah they aren’t very exciting. Try an Ele they are extremely active as you must switch elements constantly although they aren’t hard to play. Eng is in the same boat, takes more skill to play an Eng though.

Never tried Eng., don’t know anything about them. But i will give it a try!

How is Eng going in pvp?

Engie has some good build in pvp (well hgh focused builds, bomb heal builds, tanky ones in general), though other builds aren’t there yet.

Yes Eng. seems fun and tactics for first. But is pvp eng. working?
I mean maybe i have to watch some pvp videos…

Engi can be great in PvP when you know what you are doing. I run an Engi as my main and so far I have 5 lvl 80s still working on the other 3.

My engi build works great in all areas of the game. Pve, sPvP and WvW, you can also throw dungeons into the mix too and I can solo a lot of champs too.
