Why there’s no mount in gw2 when people always fascinate to have one?

e.g. A moral highhorse.

Because people voted Ellen Kiel onto the Council.

Otherwise we would be riding the Charrs as our mounts

It’s not needed in this game since pve zones are seperated,it’s no sandbox.
WvW isn’t big enough for mounts either
It would increase server stress
etc

I think it’s a cosmetic/design choice by Anet.

GW1 didn’t have mounts either. Instead both games have numerous points you can teleport to (waypoints in GW2, any town or outpost in GW1) when you’re in a hurry and maps which are designed around travelling on foot for when you’re not.

I don’t see what’s wrong with mounts aside from the image of a norn or charr riding one. GW2 could have some really neat and unique mounts, like golems for asura and a motorcycle like thing for a charr, maybe even small tanks. There’s already no death penalty (WPing doesn’t count, if you can’t afford 1 silver then you need to stop spending all your money) and an absurd amount of waypoints, it’s not like it will be too convenient or anything. Just disable them in WvW and PvP. Won’t trivialize jumping puzzles if they can’t fly, any norn or charr player knows that.

Learn to read the forum? Forum is full of mount requests…

We have waypoints, no mounts needed. Else get a sword/greatsword warrior its a mount itself.

Your mount you’re so looking for in GW2.
Only problem with those is that they’re only in EotM.

Works same as GW1 Junundu and Siege Devourers:

• Transformations
• Modifies stats
• Has limitation to specific maps
• Replaces skill bar with one according to the mount.

Given the conditions that seem to exist in the known (to us, anyway) regions of Tyria, I’d say that Raptors and/or Moas are the most likely candidates for mounts.
