Q:

I’m from the US and have been playing for a bit. I will be moving to Taiwan to get my masters so I’ll be there for about two years. I was wondering if there’ll be any funky stuff going on with my account or anything or if I can log on and play as normal. I play with my IRL friends here and I’d like to keep doing so to keep in contact (other than just facebook and all) but I figured I’d see if anyone knew the policy on what happens on a situation like this. Thanks all

A:

Once you have registered your account, you can play from anywhere in the world. If you have email or Mobile Authentication, you will, of course, have to authorize the new IP address. But, that’s it.

Good luck.

I played in Europe and Japan, doesn’t matter where you are. You will have to verify your IP though.

And also you must play on a U.S. server from overseas since you bought the NA client.

Blackgate Megaserver – [LaZy] Imperium of LaZy Nation
Mud Bone – Sylvari Ranger

Not necessarily. You can transfer between regions. It costs shards.

You can transfer to any server you so desire, NA or EU. If you do transfer to another server (NA or EU), there will either be a cost in Gems, or by deleting all your characters with no cost for the transfer.
