Furocity is crap compared to crit damage.

When will we be able to swap runes on our armor at anytime like our traits?
I like using might and perplexity. The armor I would use these runes on are
The same pieces of armor. Now there’s no way in hell I will b spending almost
60g to try out different runes for different builds. Does Anet really want us to
Make 2 sets of ascended gear with the exact same stats just to have different
Runes? That’s insane to me and way too expensive.
So please Anet once we put a rune on our armore let that rune be saved
Permanently to that armor so maybe if we decide to swap our traits
we could swap runes on our armor for those traits.
This weekend I spent 70 dollars removing, buying and swaping runes just
to see what would and wouldn’t work. That is way to much money.
Anet plz make this game more player friendly and let us have multiple runes
on a armor set or multiple sigils on weapons. Plz don’t rob us blind.

Working as intended.

(:

If you don’t want to do it, just get an exotic set for your second (WvW/PvE) setup; runes and sigils in PvP are still free. Also, you can craft 2 ascended sets now and use across all characters. Also, you can check forums and read what works and what doesn’t if you want to be efficient.

20 level 80s and counting.

Ferocity is fine and much better during lower levels. Crit damage was never properly balanced. The value of crit damage in terms of stat points made no sense, as it varied greatly between difference pieces, where 1% was worth anywhere from ~7 to ~17 stat points.

As for swappable runes, they’ll probably eventually release legendary ones.

All hail condi meta.
That aside, Anet has got to make money somehow unless box sales remain like they were at launch…

You don’t actually have to pay anything to “test” runes. If you’re testing yourself and not leaving it to other players to research, get yourself one of the spreadsheets and input all the data in there and you will be able to see how X compares to Y and why Z is better all without spending a copper until you purchase the rune you know you want.

Ferocity is supposed to give players less Crit % than the old system, btw, that was the purpose.

Agreed, they are not aiming updates to force people to spend. OP didn’t need to buy upgrade extractors, or purchase gems, he just chose to.

I spent a whopping 8s on Sigils/Runes in total post patch, and that’s purely because Wardrobe system let’s me use my Frostfang/Sunrise in CM & Arah now, so I bought 2 extra Axes & 2 GS’ and put the appropriate 10% Sigil in. I didn’t need to test, I just spreadsheeted to find my existing runes were still optimal.

You spent money in the gem store, thats all ANet needs to know. They don’t care about your feelings or your opinions, just if you’re willing to spend money or not. You demonstrated that you are, so they’re satisfied. Should’ve kept your wallet closed, I’m afraid.

Dude, why on earth would you spend that much money? Just buy Exotic armor to test your runes, don’t put it on Ascended. Wow.

If that was the purpose it was done really badly. The ferocity change actually gave players MORE crit damage in most PvE areas.

AC is a total joke now.
