Personally, I hate that there are multiple-stat trinkets such as Berserker/Valkyrie, Dire/Rabid, etc. ANET is never going to add all possible stat combinations (as this would be impossible).

I feel there should be some standardized way of making “Mixed” (Multiple Stat Ascended) Trinkets. As demonstrated below letters represent a specific stat like ferocity. X represents an miscellaneous mystic forge item, for example:

Ring A B C + Ring A B D + X + X -> Ring A B .5C .5D

Rules should follow similar to:

—Two stat sets like power, precision, ferocity and power, precision, condition would result in a ring that is power, precision, 1/2 ferocity, and 1/2 condition.
—Custom combination stat sets cannot be further “mixed.”
—Custom combination stat sets should result in a -5% stat penalty to all new stats. (This would prevent completely op stat sets but still encourage new builds)
—Celestial accessories cannot be “mixed”.

Thoughts.

I’ve always hated the RPG convention (left over from pencil & paper days) to impose choices on players. If I want to run power, healing, condition, why not let me combine blood, totems, and bones in some combination? Why force us to learn a new recipe for every possible combination of stats, with some account bound and most unbound?

I don’t much care how they do it, except to retain the existing proportions, which seem to work well for the game already.
