Guild Wars 2

After all the debate and arguing on the Forums, and the posts I’ve made. Yesterday I was ingame and running Mount Malestrom. Just wandering around trying to complete the map. There were other players in the map running around completing dynamic events, asking for and getting help, telling people where the mob bosses were spawning.

It started raining in game and “Fear Not This Night” started playing when I reached one of the areas (I was playing the game at night.) The sound effects of the rain, the music and the camaraderie really made me forget for awhile the entire Lost Shores fiasco.

This is what the game should be about. Art/Friends/Fun.

Indeed,great music in a game does So much.And tbh im not much of a fan of most music i hear ( too much violins ),some do sound nice,but battle fights,boss battles,i find them rather annoying. I found a thread by someone saying you could customise your own music for gw2. here’s the page if you want to http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Customized_soundtrack , its pretty awesome having your own fav music fire up at night or at boss battles.Ive set some skyrim music for night,some music from lost oddyssey ,howl of the departed for boss battles ( best boss battle song imo ) its freaking awesome to hear it when youre fighting jormak etc.
I really suggest to try it out and put in some music from other games for instance,or whatever you like.

This is really funny – I’ve been in Mount Maelstrom for the last couple of days and I have felt the exact same way. The music and atmosphere and events there are very fun and epic. Zones like that remind me of what Guildwars can be, if it tries.
