Here is my unrequested part of Contribution to things where I think Guild Wars 2 needs to improve and Ideas of things I think of would be healthy for the Game.
Keep in mind this is only my point of view and eventhough I honestly think, that atleast the majority of my Ideas would benefit the Game in a great deal, I’m not taking any high ground and am thinking, that I couldn’t be wrong or am not biased in a certain way.

Since I really don’t know how to start this whole thing properly, I will just start with calling random things I don’t like and why they should be improved. If Iam lucky, I can keep some kind of order in this whole mess.

Oh yeah and by the way, I know… trying to contribute to a MMO in 2016 LUL.. actually thinking that ANet does something .. LUL, Gw2 is P2W anyway, crying for more elitist content omg, I have no clue whatsoever. Now we got that out of the way…

1. One thing Iam very sad about, is that the Game doesn’t give me a satisfying feeling of progression throughout the Game. So one reason why I feel like this is, that getting the best Gear in the Game is pretty easy, because there is only one Tier of Ascended Armor and Weapons and Legendarys are not additional 5% better. I know Guild Wars 2 doens’t want to jump on the Train of a Item Spiral on and on to keep player interested in the Game and overall I do think this is the right way, but getting additional 5% Stats on ones Armor / Weapons every 1 or even 1 and a half Year barely qualifies for me as that. The fact alone, that right now even Legendary Equipment isn’t superior to Ascended is from my point of view a huge flaw. I can’t see any reason why they are not supposed to be 5% better, considering the amount of efford they take to get.
To sum that part up ; I’m for the progression through Gear, like Ascended Tier 1 to 3 and even Legendary Tier 1 to 3 or whatever. I think combining a upgrade System for the Gear through professions would give the Game and professions a whole new meaning. The upgrading Materials could be tied to other progression achievements in the Game like clearing a Raid, getting the highest PvP Rank, a really high WvWvW Rank or other achievements in ones personal Story and so on. The possibilities would be so diverse and would also add new meanings to other Parts of the Game if done right and in addition to that, you could combine all this with the need for buying HoT to hav acces to these features. Last but not least to that Point, I think it is really important to introduce better Stats on Gear very slowly and like I said, once a Year or even just once 1 and a half Year, to avoid too much pressure for the Players, aswell as the fact that the Improvement should be just like the mentioned 5%, in order to keep things fair if a Player falls behind and for new Players in general. On the other Hand, this would be a great reward for Players who are willed to put in more time and efford without making them too crazy. Besides, it woud only affect PvE and WvWvW or potentially upcoming PvP Zones anyway and sPvP would be left out.
This isn’t the only way I do think Progression should be added though. The introduction of the Mastery System was a Step in the right way, it just doesn’t feel rewarding enough. Besides the Fraktal Masteries I miss actual rewarding things. I would suggest to look at the Paragon Level System of Diablo 3 here to get some Ideas and again, I can’t really see a point why a Player who plays a lot more shouldn’ be rewarded for it and aswell be atleast a bit stronger. Calling these things unfair is hardly how the World or any Game works and it is a mistake from my point of view to do things like it would be. Keeping Players close together and an eye on newer or Players with less Time and Commitment is one thing, but by only doing that Players who are actually spending more Time within the Game are kinda left out and I feel like that is a big mistake. Eventually, the people who are keeping the Game alive and are throwing real money around, are those Players who keep playing even after Years. The Key is to find the right Balance between those things and I hope my vague Suggestions are qualified for that.

2. This is a minor one and I highly doubt this would will ever change but, I hate the the possibility to Glide in central Tyria. I don’t know what ANet thought when enabling Players to do it, but it hurts the overall experience and takes away some of the magic central Tyria offeres from my point of view. The World was initially designed without this possibility and many “secret” Spots and jumping Puzzles are only cool because they are so hard to reach. Now with gliding, many of this is gone and all for the sake of getting people to buy HoT? This is what I think atleast, because it makes no sense to me otherwise.

3. Dungeons should have some kind of Hardmode or Fractal progression. This Point goes along with my previous one, because I think it is one of the best things about Guild Wars 2 : Every Zone has some kind of relevance and it is almost always worth a Trip back. GW2 feels so alive because of it and I think it would be a huge mistake not to take advantage out of this and forcing people to camp on a small part of this huge and beautiful World. I know it’s again for the sake of getting the Expension into Player Hands but with adding a Hardmode, which could only be accessed if a Player has HoT would be a win win Situation for everyone. HoT has proven, that even the normal PvE Content can be way more challenging than before and by adding some new and simple Mechanics and buffing a whole Dungeon like it is in Fraktals can’t be that much of a Challenge for Game Designers.

4. I don’t like the multiple Layer and Maze like Design of HoT Maps. Maybe this is a complete mistake from me, but I really wish new Maps to have a maximum of 2 Layers. For me, when I first arrived in HoT, it felt not only very intimidating, but also very confusing and therefore not fut at all. It also makes the Map feel so “gated” and a complete mess. Like when I turn around a Corner and am running into 3 Ninja Frogs who are assaulting my kitten with their poisoned blowgun. I like challenges, so I killed them of course without dying (…), it still was and is annoying af since this happens all the Time. I love the way you still put in nice secret Spots, but I missed the jumping Puzzles for example and like I said before, this could only be me and my bad Taste for enviroment here I know that.

5. WvWvW should have it’s own rewards. I mean rewards like unique Skins, Armor Sets, Weapons, Materials etc. Things that you don’t get from playing literally any other Mode in the Game. I know there are already some things but they are just way to insignifcant. So please add more good things to this absolutely awesome Mode and a Feature, which really seperates Guild Wars 2 from other MMOs. It really deserves it and it is a shame that I feel like ANet forgot about what a bless it is, to have something noone else has. Besides that, given the fact people hate the new Desert Borderlands ( which I don’t ) and I can understand that, just add some Teleport Gates to this Map which every Server can use, so that running doens’t become such an Issue that keeps Players away.

6. Something that really buggs me is the lack of new Armor Sets. Not Costumes, but real Armor Sets. Costumes are funny because they are independend from your Armor Class, but they are just limited to one appearance and if one thing is so great about Guild Wars 2 Armor System, it is that everyone can dress in his own Style with nearly unlimited possibilities. So please, please add more Armor Sets obtainable in the Gem Shop, Dungeons, Fractals, Raids, sPvP and WvWvW. One thing at the sidelines, what the hell you think when you removed the dyes from the Game? Making everything Newcomer friendly but this… Free to play Accounts couldn’t even sell them properly if I remember correctly, so there wasn’t even that. Just a “cheap” cash in move. Iam sorry for those words, I just can’t find other ones for that.

7. Please add a Spectator Mode for ranked Games in Diamond and Legendary Division with a 2-3 minute delay like League of Legend has. This mode could also have a chat aviable, seperated from the Match of course, so that the Players won’t get distracted etc. I believe this would benefit sPvP in a great way. I think it would be wise to add a little Healthbar on top of a Players Head to hav a better overview of what is happening, especially when we look at casted ESL Matches.
In addition to that, a Duelling option would be really, really cool and if that, than maybe a open PvP Arena within Divnity’s Reach, a open PvP Zone (Map) which is not WvWvW.

8. At the very last, structured PvP. Structured PvP is the worst designed, most uncreative, linear and limiting Game Mode this Game has to offer and it is also by far the weakest Part about the whole Game from my perspective. I know it is the fastest growing one, but that still doesn’t make it good. It is on the other Hand the Mode with maybe the largest Potential and also a thing that keeps Player going. For those who are thinking this contradicts what I just said, it is very simple. People like Competition and killing other People in a MMO and because Guild Wars 2 offers no Duelling Option, no open PvP Zone and no Arena so far, the only 2 Options are WvWvW, in which you can’t kill people from your Server and the sPvP.

To explain my negativity about this Mode, eventhough Iam playing it quite often let me say this : I think it is the worst designed Mode because it only offers Conquest as a competetive, even E-Sport viable choice of play. It limits every player with only a handfull of Options, because of its Amulet and Rune System, which is the same reason why I think it is so linear and the inability of ANet to balance things, rework Classes / Maps / Modes and therefore my feeling that they just don’t understand PvP are making this Mode the weakest one for me. It doesn’t help there, that the casted ESL Matches are a big mess, badly explained and casted and therefore overall unpleasant to watch, eventhough I do love watching PvP.

How I would fix those things :
I would devide the Amulet Stats through 3 and spread them among a Armor, Amulet and a Weapon to offer a bigger variety of Stats and finer tuning possibilities. So this would work against the Limitation and Linearity. That way it should be possible to convert every existing Set into the sPvP again, even Celestial. Straight to Celestial, one hasn’t to be a Genius that a combined amount of Stats of 3521 (Cele) is better than 3220 (Mender for example), so instead of removing Celestial in the first place, ANet could have just nerfed it.
This is also a very important point because it shows to me, that there is a general misunderstanding about the balance. I don’t see bunker or hybrid builds beeing Op, it is rather that they are just too rewarding to play in a Conquest mode. Therefore the Mode, which is by the way a fault in general to be the only one viable for E-Sports should be changed and not everything around it. In general it always looks to me, that ANet tries to work against Hybrid builds and if Iam correct here, this is a fault in general in this Game.
First of all, GW2 has no hard Trinity, which makes Hybrid needed right in the first place and secondly, Hybrids will always prevail since this is simple science and evolution. This gets even more forced through the Conquest mode in which it is so rewarding to play a Hybrid if every second you are on a Note counts that much. There is no best thing. Only best at ( Thanks Nemesis ) and this is exactly the point. Instead of running in circles and trying to fix a thing which is obviously impossible, ANet should make other Modes, in where it is not this rewarding to be a Hybrid or Bunker. Don’t get confused now, it is always rewarding to be Hybrid since you have no obvious weaknesses, but also no obvious strengh and the Conquest mode turned that “no strengh” into a actual strengh, which was and is surviving on a Note and maybe even supporting your allies while doing so (which strengthens this even further). A Bunker on the other hand would lose a lot of its value in a simple Deathmatch. So in addition to changing the Conquest Mode, ANet has to do add some other Modes aswell, like a Capture the Flag Mode, the mentioned Deathmatch (WoW Arena Yes.) and something other I just can’t think of now.
This would not only offer way more variety and fun for everyone, it would also add way more Strategies in a Best of 3 and more viable builds in general.

I guess that’s it for now. Thank you all so much for your time and reading this. English isn’t my first Language and I deeply apologize for any inconvenience.

Best regards, and for gods sake fix ELE. LUL

I’m pretty much disagree completely with 1, 2, 4, and 5. Responses below, numbered according to your suggestions.

1. The idea of stuff being really optional in this game is important, because legendaries should always be an option for players like me. You get them for the skins.

This game is the successor to Guild Wars 1. In Guild Wars 1, we had normal armor and we had elite armor. Elite armor was much more expensive and much harder to get, but it had the same exact stats. We only got it for the skins. This improves the game. We already have enough power creep and we don’t need more. And people don’t need to feel pressured to work on hard stuff.

When ascended items were introduced with a stat difference, there was a huge backlash from the community. Many of us, maybe most would consider raising stats again a betrayal. We didn’t have it in Guild Wars 1 and it has no place in the sequel.

2. I’m going to go out on a limb here and suggest most people like Gliding in core Tyria. In fact, I suspect a vast majority of players prefer it. It’s faster to get around. It’s quite scenic in some areas, and after doing world complete a few times, it’s better by being more convenient. I don’t need to run through mobs I can glide over and getting around adds a layer of thought process and strategy that changes the way the old world was played and renews it somewhat.

4. The new maps are absolutely my favorite maps in the game. You may not like those sort of maps, but having some of them for people who like them is a good thing. There are 25 plus maps that are made for people who like what you like. I don’t think 4 maps made for people who enjoy the complexity is out of hand.

5. So you’re suggesting that Anet take the time and design sets of stuff that only people that play WvW can get, in spite of the fact that we know a good portion of the player base doesn’t WvW? That means making rewards for under 50% of the playerbase or “encouraging” people to do content they don’t like to get them.

The casual playerbase is already up in arms about having to do WvW to get legendaries. The team that makes armors and weapons are stretched already. Making different rewards for different formats just stretches them more. It’s all about time budget. Making items for one format is time consuming and not very cost effective. Anyway there’s already an armor set just for WvW.

Honestly I’d like this game a lot less if they implemented some of the changes you’ve asked for.

So much negativity towards such a diverse spectrum of game features/mechanics that atm it seems like this just isn’t the game for you.

…what are the things you like about the game, and why? Why are you still playing it, or is this just your version of a Dear John letter to ANet?

I admit I only skimmed your post (I read each point, but not the entire text as a lot of it seemed repetitive).

But I wouldn’t want to play the game you want and I’d be extremely disappointed if GW2 was changed in the ways you’re asking for because I don’t think there is another MMO like it at the moment, so I’d have lost my favourite game.

1, 2, 4, and 5 are terrible suggestions, as Vayne mentioned.

I think I agree with you on 8. Breaking stats into Trinket, Armor and Weapon would be great for build diversity. We need more emphasis and development on the Stronghold game mode as well, IMO. As far as I can tell, Stronghold is the superior game mode, at least for casual play. It provides more fluid fights that allow for non Area-Denial builds to work (While still having a place for area denial), with multiple ways to achieve objectives, allowing multiple playstyles. It also would accomodate an introduction to Guild Vs Guild. And… Mist Champions! A touch of extra personalization to our characters, and more options for changing gameplay up.

What’s this? A post providing feedback and suggestions to change my favorite game??? dramatic gasp…such blasphemy! How dare someone even remotely suggest to alter or modify this pinnacle in the MMO genre that I have no total bias over?! Arena-Net has blessed thee with thy masterpiece and ye dares say to defile it with filth of constructive suggestions? Burn thy heathen at the stake, I say! Burn thy heathen alive, I say! Woe to my perfection that is GW2, none shall taint it with decent and optimistic suggestion, thee has only the right to marvel and never criticize! Repent and be bombarded with mass attacks on thy forum post!!!

/dramatic portrayal of the responses end

I swear, GW2 community always gets touchy-feely when new suggestions are brought up in regards to their game. As if outside perspectives are not allowed anymore. Some of you need to let your hair down every once in a while. Suggestion posts aren’t going to change a game, but at least give the person a chance and keep an open mind before immediately striking any suggestion through. For example:

  1. wouldn’t be too bad of an idea. Having some sort of progression to work towards would give people a reason to keep going. Maybe not add gear with better stats, but they could and should totally add more gear into the game with different combination of stats and skins. If a player reaches their Ascended or Legendary gear, they really have nothing else to work towards aside from playing parts of the game’s content. Unless people just want to do raids and PvP over and over on a looping treadmill, they have nothing else to work towards regarding their character and their gearing journey ends. I like MMO’s that add levels with meaningful way to grow your character, not gear-wise but even with alterations to abilities. Having a feeling of personal growth and progress is nice in MMO’s.
  2. is a preference so please don’t immediately jump on the OP screaming DON’T TAKE AWAY MY GLIDER #GliderLivesMatter
  3. aims to make 5-man content relevant again. I would LOVE to have dungeons back and with levels of difficulty! Let’s get them 5-man’s back, wanna run those with my buddies!
  4. HoT in general was designed for the “hardcore complex map & raiding” minority. Majority of people don’t ant to deal with the headache of figuring out every nook and crevice of how to get past the gating per map’s level. Make those optional for people wanting those maps, not just shafting everyone into a mess that only few will actually enjoy. Poor decision upon Anet to shaft everyone there. (Here come some angry reponses to this particular opinion >.>)
  5. WvW would be neat if they gave me skins to pursue. Otherwise I can go get a more immersive experience in ESO Cyrodil battles.
  6. New armor design would be nice. Costumes are neat, but armor wouldn’t be bad either.
  7. Spectator mode would be good if someone like a streamer wanted to host a competition. Would be neat!
  8. I shall not touch as I am not well versed in sPvP. It looks like a visual mess if you watch the tournaments and doesn’t captivate me. I will simply stay out of it.

All in all, please understand that its just player feedback and it doesn’t mean that the devs are going to jump out of their seats to change the game to some player feedback immediately. Use people’s posts to start a discussion instead of shafting players away from the forums. Starting a discussion and conversation will go a long way to get to know a fellow player and even make you friends. GW2 players have been seen as very touchy and very negative to criticism as of late ever since the quarterly report so please don’t give people a reason to back up that theory. Do it not for yourself, but for the game’s image too

I don’t know…if no one posts their disagreement with a suggestion, then, perhaps, ArenaNet would feel that’s what the playerbase desired. /shrug

I, for one, really enjoy Gliding in all the maps.
I’d rather not have Armor Sets added back to the Gem Shop. I’d prefer they stay in-game.
I think the Devs already ‘heard’ players desires about the design of HoT maps with the release of Bloodstone Fen. I guess we will see in a couple of weeks which way they go with Ember Bay.
I’d rather not have any more Stat/Gear progression; it took me a long time to get (almost all) Ascended gear on one character.

Still, good luck.

The OP doesn’t like gliding. That’s fine. It’s optional, so he doesn’t have to use it. But his ‘suggestion’ was to take it away from the rest of us. That, and a couple of his other points, demonstrate that he is really looking for another game. That is a far simpler answer than trying to change this game to suit the generic mmo he seems to desire.

I personally don’t really care that much for gliding, core or HoT. I don’t actively dislike it but it doesn’t really do anything for me either. I’ve not been able to unlock leyline gliding and so, with the comment about its utility in chapter 2 of LS3 my take on the implementation of gliding in general may be changing in a negative way very soon.

I dislike the idea of gear/stat progression. If you want progression for your character…work on your skill as a player. I know that the addition of ascended gear has cost Anet money from me (several thousand dollars based on my normal spending habits for my main game. My spending stopped after the addition of ascended gear.) in the aftermath of the addition of ascended gear. Still don’t have a full set.

I wouldn’t mind armor in the gemstore in addition to in game. If gemstore armor paid for its own development costs it might be worthwhile for anet to hire to increase the size of the team building it. Then again…not spending real money on the game (made an exception to try HoT. Can’t say that paid off that well for me with map design as it is) so the point is kind of moot for me.

Hard mode for dungeons seems like an interesting idea to me.

I like the idea of rewards tied to specific content. not all rewards, but some.

I dislike the HoT maps. Love the more challenging mobs, but the actual maps annoy me. Never have liked mazes, not a fan of jumping puzzles, and platforming style games are not my cup of tea. Jumping on a mushroom to bounce up to the next level? Really? Where is the Mario Plumber outfit in the gemstore? Still haven’t found Princess Peach. The new LS3 map is only slightly better. Looks as if buying HoT, pretty much primarily for access to LS3, was a bad idea.

I don’t sPvP in GW2 so no comment on your suggestions there. Still I would like to point out that, “fastest growing,” is one of those politician speak metrics. A game that added one player in a day, when it had only one player to begin with, might be able to boast that it was the fastest growing game due to its 100% growth rate in a single day….while having a total of two players. Always look upon such claims from any corporation with a health dose of skepticism.

I do not want this game to turn out like another generic MMO.
I really dislike these suggestions the OP is making. This game would be less fun for me if those changes did occur and I would have no other MMO to turn to since there isn’t another game modern MMO like GW2 in the market.

Also I agree with Inculpatus cedo.9234 – That “if no one posts their disagreement with a suggestion, then, perhaps, ArenaNet would feel that’s what the playerbase desired.”

There is nothing wrong posting your disagreement with a suggestion thread. We all have a voice here and it’s better to be heard than to be silence.

I’ll tell you what I agree with, on your post:

1.
Yes, I think Dungeons could use a hard mode version of its self. Better rewards, but offer a much more challenging experience. I would also like this to extend this to living story seasons. Offering a much more difficult version of the same content would encourage more group play and give players looking for another challenge something to do. But, I don’t think it should be locked only for HOT, considering Dungeons were around before HOT came out.

2.
I agree WvW should have “more” exclusive rewards. Such as its own legendary back piece. But tbh, I think Anet is already secretly working on this. I mean, it makes sense that they would, considering SPVP and PVE both have exclusive ones. Theres already an armor set only exclusive to WvW but it could use more. And if your planning on creating a legendary weapon, you have to go to WvW anyways to get a gift of battle.

3.
I agree, Spvp needs more game modes. Conquest is okay, but having other stuff to do besides capturing spots on the map would be better. Anets first dip into this was courtyard. But was taken out because a lot of people hated that deathmatch map. There was also Stronghold, which didn’t turn out the way that they hoped. To a point where, people barely ever talk about it as if it doesn’t exist. I encourage Anet to continue to experiment but at the same time adding more variety would be a lot better. It appears a larger cry for straight up death matches are on the raise. Id say lets have a 2v2 or 3v3 supported arena. Or another map with another objective game mode.

Everything else ya said, I think is very subjective and really depends on how you look at it.

A suggestion is nothing but that, but people immediately jump on the OP for even mentioning alterations to their favorite part of the game, as if the OP is sitting at the A-Net office about to delete any gliding-related code and assets from the clutches of helpless players mid-glide.

Its a constant walking-on-eggshells situation on these forums and on reddit. I’d love for some people here to just have some chill and simply respond with a normal response; more “I actually like the (feature) because (reasons)” and less of “I strongly DISAGREE with your Opinion/Suggestion regarding (feature) and shall proceed shoving down 100 reasons why your opinion is WRONG!” ._.

May I add a suggestion.

Perhaps instead of providing stat increases they should do something like in Path of Exile where there are unique items that grant effects, cosmetic or not to certain abilities on the character.

I know I went for a lot of items in that game just because of that.

I ain’t your “Dude,” sorry.

Are you talking about my first post? I was satirizing people’s immediate reactions to any suggestion posts ever created since HoT launched. I’ve seen a good chunk of them and they always follow suit of instant knee-jerk responses of people attacking rather than debunking or starting a discussion in regards to player feedback. The attacks even go beyond just the post, but are aimed at the OP, their preferences, and any other form of direct attacks. Its pretty disgusting, but the GW2 Forums and Reddit community is quick to judge a person rather than have an actual discussion and I don’t know if its just the culture to do that or if a Wall-flower MMO attracts wall-flower people that feel free to be ridiculous. WoW forum squabbles are nothing compared to some of the most disgusting responses I’ve ever seen on the forums here.

Please understand, I am all for disagreements for a suggestion, but I am not for shafting of a reasonable point.

I’ve been on the forums for some time, reading stuff about HoT and GW2’s future in general and as much as I don’t like it, it rustles my jimmies when people act all snob-like on here and cross some common sense decency lines. I get the monitor is a great thing to hide behind, but what follows that that advantage of anonymity is what pushes people away from the community and the game.

^ But… nobody has been disgusting in this thread or “shafting” the OP’s “reasonable” points. There’s no need to drag the toxicity of other threads into this one.

Anyway… back on topic. I want to address the one point that sticks out most to me: gliding. I actually like gliding because it revitalizes the core maps: it lets a player see them from a new perspective. It makes mapping really fun. People complain that the core maps are too easy. Gliding turns that ease into a zen experience. There’s nothing like finding a high mountain in the Shiverpeaks and flying above all that crisp white snow in the sunrise.
It doesn’t hurt the experience of central Tyria because, as you and the OP keep reminding, it’s optional. The OP doesn’t have to use gliding on the few jps that allow it. Nothing in that paragraph on gliding is a viable suggestion. It’s just the OP saying how much they hate the possibility of gliding (their words). There’s nothing wrong with voicing that opinion, but that’s all it is.

I agree with pretty much everything, especially the dungeon hard mode and legendary gear

My opinions are similar to what you were saying.

WVW, Fractals and farming sucks. Players only do these things to get the crafting materials they need like Gift of Battle and precursor ingredients. Most of the players spend time farming. Either way the crafting of legendary items take 11 months simply because you get 7 Mystic Clovers in the legendary chest and you need 77 to craft a legendary assuming that you actually have all the mats.

I agree that Gliding should be immediately removed from Central Tyria and is pretty much useless as it was not part of the original game anyway. As a matter of fact many have asked the deves how to shut off the glider feature themselves through out the game. However do keep in mind that in my case I have done the storyline 9 times from beginning to end and really only push to get characters to World Bosses so I can sit around and just hit them.

Now HoT while some people seem to think HoT is the nicest thing since sliced bread I think it is the most horrible, lame expansion that Guildwars has done and I use to think Factions was in the original game. When it first came out I rushed to get through the storyline in 2 weeks and personally never want to go back or have anything to do with that system. I lost a lot of friends who felt that same way and still have not returned to Guildwars. The Mastery point system is absolutely ridiculous as in adding even more currencies types for us to have to collect (by the way this brings the number of currencies in the game to 35) . Many have begged Guildwars to drop the HoT expansion in its entirety and return to the traditional ways that we working and did not need to be messed around with. The game designers are no where near fixing the issues in the game and I feel that anther expansion will just be met with contempt as yet more currencies are added and yet more ridiculous maps.

Until Guildwars gets through the repetitive farming and realizing that we all don’t like to WVW or PVP so forcing us to do this for whatever reason will only make people not want to play – MANY do not care about killing fellow players off.

It seems that we have developed into a fashion crazed, game that is being forced to buy gems to be turned into gold to get anywhere in this game. And after repeating the same processes time and again it get s a little stupid to keep doing it. In killing off the dungeon system you stopped the content that PVE players were doing and one of the few ways that they actually got loot but you nerfed that. However if you get tired of doing that please use the approved Guildwars Gold Seller and but gems to be turned into gold through the system. You going to pay to do that as much as you would having a monthly hosting fee on some games but heck its what they want. I just smile and hope that the madness will stop.

A thing I might like to add to my original Post :

I would like to tie the Ability to use Gliding in central Tyria to a 100% Map completion on one Character. This could unlock 10 additional achievement Points, the Ability to Glide and would prevent new Players from having a from my perspective, not so epic Experience when first setting Foot on Tyria. I don’t know exactly if Jumping Puzzles are a “no gliding Area” already, but if not, make them to.

I’ll stick to the rest.
