Guild Wars 2

It says all I have to do is visit the vendor to complete that stage of the daily, but when I do I’m not progressing and nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? Anybody else had trouble with this daily?

I also cannot progress in my total kills daily also for some reason, this makes my daily completely impossible to complete!

Believe it was said in another thread that it might be your computers clock time being set wrong. The daily quest objectives are determined by your system clock and credit is determined by the server. So you might be trying to complete an objective that isn’t actually the current daily and thus the server won’t give you credit. IIRC todays daily was crafting, dodge/evading, events, gathering, and veterans.

So what can I do? Just because I’m in another time zone to the server means i get no daily today?

You could try adjusting your clock to GMT or PST and see what happens. Alternatively I think the daily is:

Veteran kills
Events
Crafting
Gathering
Dodging

I could be wrong on those though.

But you can/will complete your daily if you do the required things from what I gather even if the tracking on your end is broken.

Could always set your system clock back a day.

Is it possible that you have one daily, although appearing other?

Ah my computer for some reason pushed its date to the 31st, so i reverted it back and problem is fixed thanks guys Maybe the dailies i saw were for tomorrow? haha

This shouldn’t be possible. It should get the date/time from the server and not from the local machine…

lol i think i will re-clock my puter to 3 months in advance, then i can get a hard start lol

checks out the achievements for the next month … ooo I gotta do that to that, not sure they gonna like it but o k.

You can’t actually progress in the achievement, you just get a glimpse at what it’s currently set to be for that month.

Also, as a developer in another thread stated, that’s just what’s currently slated for that month, and it’s subject to change.
