Hello I wanted to do a post like this one a long time ago but I never rly thought about it. These are idea’s I see a lot on forums or I miss in this game. This is my ‘’dream’’ feature pack update. Also feel free to discuss my ideas. And sry for my English, It’s not my main language

Housing:
Many people suggested this already but I want to put my own idea around player housing here. It looks a lot of a game published by NCsoft as well.

-Home district are renamed and only for Personal Story purposes.
- Every player has a plot now where he/she can choose from different house skins.
-You are now able to place the items you have unlocked in your home instance, in your new home plot.
-You are able to decorate your home from the inside and outside.
-New decorations for inside and outside the house can be found all around Tyria (as random drops, dungeon rewards, JP rewards, PvP rewards, WvW rewards, achievement rewards, personal story rewards and living story rewards) and in the Gemshop. (As example a Champion Phantom can put an dark’ish altar in his home, or someone with Ultimate Dominator can have a crown in his home).
-You are now able to place personal story characters in your home plot.
-A new icon next to guild is made that makes you warp to your home plot or the key L.
-You are able to invite players into your home plot.

Gemstore:
-You are now able to buy parts of a gemstore armor set for 300 gems each.

Wardrobe:
-Items bought with gems are always free to apply.

WvW/Guesting:
Guesting is a useless feature now, but these ideas might help to make a use of it. Also people on smaller servers can check how WvW is on the bigger servers without making a purchase. I also made a small image how the map of Battlefields should look like. (and sry for the awful image, I am not an artist lol, but I think it will make the point)

-Added new map; Battlefields. A plain field with in the middle a lake, and in the middle of the lake a tower. A realm can claim that tower but it won’t add any bonuses. This map is ideal for Guild versus Guild battles (GvG) (and roamers/duellers).
-You are now able to guest to another server and play WvW on that server.
-You can’t guest to servers your main server is playing against.
-You are able to guest now from Eu to NA servers and vice versa.
- You’ll get kicked from the WvW map if the map starts to have a queue while guesting. So people who play on that server will have priority over the guester.
-You also can’t go into Edge of the mists or Battlefields while guesting.
-You can guest once a day.

PvP:
I do a lot of PvP, but I see so much people with so much sustain and damage output. All having something familiar; celestial amulet. Also you might have already heard already of people who think celestial is too strong. It’s even a topic on the ESL forums. But feel free to discuss my ‘’nerfs’’ to celestial and might stacking runes. Also I as soloQ’r am fighting too much against teams/premades and I see other people having the same problem as well. This is why I think they should split Ranked into team and solo.

-Ranked is now split between Solo Ranked and Team Ranked. So there won’t be any chance a solo ranked player can have a matchup against a team (Premade).
-changed all stats of celestial amulet from 438 to 390.
-reduced the might duration bonus from Strength runes 45% to 25%.
-reduced the might duration bonus from Hoelbrak runes 30% to 10%.

Fixes/small features:
-Experience scrolls (insta lvl 20 scrolls) from first and second birthday are now stackable.
-You can combine 4 lvl 20 scrolls to get 1 lvl 40 scroll in the mystic forge.
-Fixed a pathing bug that makes blink skills not work.
-Fixed a bug on the TP, so the first number you type is the amount you want to have and not the amount of gold you want to spend to buy something with.
-Improved AI for all pet/summons.
-right click items/bags to open/use them all. Doesn t work with nourishments.

1. Undo all previous feature patches (except wardrobe)
2. Split PvE/PvP/WvW so they can actually be balanced
3. Introduce raiding
4. Announce expansion

My list:

1. Make all builds equally effective against objects. Builds that rely on critical hits and/or conditions (and/or certain skills such as marks) are disadvantaged right now.
2. Find a way of dealing with the condition cap.
3. Give the ability to have a seperate build for land and underwater.
4. Increase skill availability underwater.
5. Make sure every profession has one healing skill and one elite skills of all the utility skill types that profession has access to.
6. Increase the number of weapon options of the professions, by increasing the availailibity of existing weapons and by adding entirely new weapons (such as polearms).

Edit:
7. Make all stat combinations (both those already in the game and those not yet in the game) available for crafting.

Edit 2:
8. No new professions (ever).
9. No higher level cap (ever).
10. No equipment with better stats than ascended / legendary equipment (ever).

My dream feture pack would be:

- Conditions will affect objects
- Conditions will be reworked so the damage output is higher then DPS, together with the ramp up time this would be good.
- Condition caps are based on the level of the creature you’re fighting, 25 for basic, 40 for veteran, 50 for eleite, 100 for champion, 250 for legendary.
- Overflowing condition dmg will damage anyways.. I’d accept armor having influence on it.
- Introduction of Guild Halls
- Precursor crafting
- New dungeons @ lvl 80 1 for 8 persons, 1 for 12 persons with decent rewards)
- Several new lvl 80 areas
- New race(s), and new leveling story(s) and corresponding maps 0-15, 15-25, 25-40, new hearts, vistas and skillpoints.
- New proffesions
- New weapons.

- Upscale of all loot by 1 level, so where you’d now get crap, you’ll get better loot instead fo rare’s exotics, instead of whites blues, and so on. (well ascended was introduced, so lets actually accept: grey = only for event grinders & 24 hr farmers) this could be balance by giving people a warning the’ve been farming to long and drops will go down to the original level.

- I want all semi permanent and permanent currency to have a place either in the wallet or in the bank.
- An idea what there will be in the future. (say a roadmap , but without a timeline.)

-No equipment with better stats than ascended / legendary equipment (ever)

23 lvl 80’s, 9 times map, 4ele, 4ncr, 3war, 3grd, 3rgr, 2thf, 2msm, 1eng, 1 rev.
Been There, Done That & Will do it again…except maybe world completion.

Let see (other than what the above people had mention already)-

You should be able to get/ loots the mats of your choosing than getting the mats you based depending on the mats level (so sick of getting thick leather and Mithril). Better yet, a trader npc to trade in the mats for another mats (yes I know about the forge but you need a full stacks and even then the forge will upgrade it).

The characters you befriend/ were with during the first part of the personal story should be more involved (or possible companions).

Ascended Light armor should have LESS damasks need to craft!!!

Getting more Guild Wars armours (e.g. Kurzick and Luxon) and it shouldn’t be one type only per armour class, ALL should be available (e.g. getting both Nerco, Ritalist, Ele etc for the light armour).

Storage bank for the tonics like how the mats and pet got their own storage.

SFR need to be less aggressive when it come to EoTM!!

Jumping Puzzles should be an instance like map and its layout change according to the character race. Seriosuly how can a Norn or Charr runs the Troll’s End jumping puzzle???

The champ weapons should no longer be drop in specific chests. Example, Crystal Guardian can be drop in any chest than just the three chests its currently reside in (yes it will be it will be alot rarer so make them all having higher drop rate)!
