Hello Tyrians!

First things first, I love guild wars, the game feels truly epic, fun, and full of adventure. However, there are some areas in the game that are lacking and think would benefit with some improvement. So I have come up with a list that, I think, would improve the quality of the game, endgame, and overall fun. This will be a long post, so prepare for a wall of text!

First, leveling and the world.
I like the random events and personal story, dont get me wrong, however I feel that they leave the player directionless. Often the only inclination I had to go to the next area was opening my map and seeing the next place was my level. My solution would be to add quests. These would not replace the random events, but go hand in hand to simply string things together. Plus, some difficult quest tracks could reward unique items such as skins, rare materials, titles, etc. (however, I would like to avoid the ‘kill 10 of this, get 10 of that’ formula.)

Second, world events and bosses.
I love the bosses in gw2, they feel massive, intimidating, and truly epic. The problem is that, after some time, it becomes dull waiting on timers to hit them like a pinata for loot. I suggest random world bosses, big ones, that no one knows when or where they will spawn. I know people dislike rng for loot, but for creature spawns I think it would add to the game. These bosses also drop rare, specific loot and award titles, etc. I also would like them to be tough to beat rather than auto-attack loot droppers. HoT looks like they will try to improve AI as well, so I will keep my fingers crossed.

Third, the players place in the world.
While playing, it feels like I dont really ‘belong’ in the world, like Im just a wandering adventurer. I would like to see some more things in the world to help with this, such as player housing. Start out with a small, free house in your home instance with the option to buy bigger ones later on. The house has their own free waypoint. Have decorations and furniture you can buy or have to have an achievement or collection for, so a potted plant can be sold on the market for cheap while a stuffed dragon head would be soul/account bound, etc. These houses should also have placeable crafting stations to fit your needs. Maybe even some storage like the bank? Possibly even add a few helpful npc’s as well (basic vendors) And if Anet ever decides to add ocean content/ travel, custom ships would be amazing as well!

Fourth, activities and endgame.
Its no secret that gw2 endgame is lacking. So to counter this, I have quite a few ideas. I played wow for several years as well as gw2, and though I like the unique feel that guild wars has, there are some things that wow did well was keep the player interested by offering several end game activities. So, a few thing that would fix this would be these: Hunter challenges (bounties appear in main cities to slay a creature in the world, specific to the player, gives moderate rewards, could increase in rank for higher rewards), several end game quests (unlocked upon reaching 80, most are very difficult but rewarding), max level dungeons and raids (HoT might improve on this), new collections for items and decorations (for player housing), with the mastery system perhaps locked content until that mastery is complete, foot races, fairs and festivals (at least more than the occasional living story one), treasure hunts (found from uncommon treasure map drops, clues are difficult), reward tracks, order activities (The Vigil, Order of Whispers, or Priory give you order-specific tasks for order themed reputation and rewards), etc. etc. etc. There are a lot they can do with this, and I think it would add to the endgame and immersion.

And 5th, a few other random suggestions.
Just a few I thought of but wont spend much time on. Ground mounts (?), capes, more skins, new weapon types, new resource types for new crafting recipes, adjustable weapon abilities, tweak existing abilities that need it, more ocean content (like ships and such, not just swimming), dyeable weapons.

Thanks for reading! Im not saying ‘add these or I quit’, just wondering what the community thought of these, so I want to know what you guys think, feedback and other suggestions are always welcome!
