So pretty much what everyone has interpreted, i want to give my own thoughts. It can be good to see what other think and you can open up your mind further to maybe find new things in the text.

Thump, Thump. Time to jump.
(The pillars which are spread out in all zones will cause earthquakes)

Wipe all resistance from your mind
(Skypirates, Dredge and other enemies etc is now not a threat to us now)

There’s a secret deep below to find
(Something underground which is hidden. Probably a monster)

If you’d only seen the things I’ve seen
(Something Scarlet have seen but not the other Sylvari)

You’d wake up screaming from The Dream
(Something dreadful is threatening Tyria. Which Scarlet has seen in The Dream i guess.)

This next part will sting, but it brings me joy
(Scarlet is a psycho and uses this monster to her advantage)

Sometimes to change you must destroy
(Scarlet want to destroy The Pale Tree and ruin The Dream, for goodness(?))

A fire is rising you cannot contain
(A mighty dreadful power which will consume Tyria)

Tyria will burn, while I remain.
(This monster is either controlled by Scarlet or in some way she will transfer the monster’s power to herself)

Fire and underground sounds like Primordus, an elder dragon. Though it can be The Jungle dragon which has its “home” in Maguuma Jungle, though it doesn’t connect to the word “fire” or “flames”. Could might be a champion of Primordus, something like Tequatl, The Shatterer or Claw of Jormag. Claw of Jormag being the biggest of those three champions, i expect Primordu’s champion to be even more frightful.

It stands to see for ourselves, but yeah, this will be epic!

Very well could be. Earthquakes can definitely change the face of Tyria permanently.

Actually, I think this may be more of a way of saying that instead of fighting her, we’re supposed to have to work with her to defeat this new menace.

Remember that Scarlet doesn’t see things the way we do. We may have already seen what she has, but interpreted it much differently.

The few times I have tried rolling a Sylvari, I spent a lot of time in the beginner area before killing the dream dragon thing. There’s actually a lot going on there. She may not be talking about the nightmare dragon at all.

I put these two parts of the verse together because they seem to mean something different than when read separately. To me it means that she is going to try to bring about massive change by destruction of the old. In other words, the thumpers are hers after all. In destroying the existing world, it will bring attention to whatever evil she seems to think we need to help her with.

Agreed, but which kind? Fire brings to mind Primordus, Destroyers, and the Charr Flamekeepers of old Tyria. Remember, that according to GW1 lore, Fire is the physical embodiment of the Charr god.

Either that or she will be safely tucked away from the destruction so she can re-emerge as a “savior” (even if it’s only in her own mind.)

I can hardly wait to see what happens next, but with all due respect to the developers, I pray that they don’t ruin the beauty that is Tyria. Knock down the buildings, and change the landscape, but please don’t ruin it by making it all look like the middle of Kessex.

That “message” so very much reminds me of the caliber of the other writing in this game … most of which would at best get a “D” in any high school creative writing class. It’s truly laughable.

Given their poor reception in the East, I suspect Sylvari are being removed as a playable race. We’ll keep the ones we have, but no new ones after the Pale tree burns…
