Awesome game – really – but I just can’t stand the lack of progression anymore. What progression? I mean skill progression. We unlock all weapon skills at lower levels and are “stuck” with them till level 80. Traits and skill points are good – but offer no solution.

My feedback would be to open up all weapons to all classes. Most likely that this is already discussed many times. In that case I would like to know what Anets plans are in this area?

I just can’t loggin anymore the skills are so repetitive and there is so little diversification.

To add. There is little to look forward to. In other games you always look forward for the next level or levels because you know you will unlock something cool – often skills.

No – classes need specific weapons. A Bow and Sorcerer I thought would be neat until I tried it in ESO. (although ESO is a basic mistake MMO).

That is the thing about this game, if you don’t like it, leave. Then come back – burn out in any game is possible.

Ummm they are working on giving professions access to most if not all weapons. Some may not make sense if you look at things by tradition, but I’m sure they will cross a bunch of imaginary lines. Mesmer with a great sword and dual swords are a good example of breaking the old rules.

though i think its a bad idea, thats why they are going to lock traits till 30. and make traits all end leveling heavy. And yeah the traits are sometimes even bigger than skills.

When they add weapons(if they add them) they said it would probably be post level 80 unlocks

Players say there’s not much progression after level 30.

ArenaNet pushes traits back 20 levels.

Be careful what you wish for.

Except there wasn’t other than trait points.

Also I expect a lot people to complain about this new trait change/system being pushed to lvl30 making the lower level players in their level appropiate zones easier targets for the mobs (granted trash mobs die in 1-3 hits to a lvl80 in zerk gear).

This is one of the reasons why I think they removed repair costs to be honest.

As long as a new character maintains current level gear, those extra points from traits will be unnoticed.
