Please don’t get me wrong with the title but lately I always get the overflow on my home world even if I wait till event has finished and hang around.

This would be fine if everyone was willing to give it 100% but straight away all say its gonna fail.

2 bosses have been released lately and how are we supposed to win with the its gonna fail attitude.

Something needs to be done and I personally think that home world players should take priority over people guesting.

and yes I understand this is only a small part of the problem but enough is enough.

Our only hope (and it will probably be the same forever) is to go there up to 1 hour before the event starts, sometimes even 30 minutes earlier is too late…

They are dissing the trinity for having 5 minute queues and then are designing in 1 hour queues. Sounds an awful lot like preparing to have fun rather than just having fun.

If people guest they have the same rights as everybody else on the server.
That is how it is and that is how it should be.
And I do find it rather amusing that you want Anet to take initiative in what is clearly a player-related issue.

I like to think about it this way, in other MMOs you’d be sitting in a queue and not overflow. So which is better, playing but failing or not playing at all.

It’s funny. I’m on a Tier 9 or whatever is lowest server, and we have overflows quite often. I can’t imagine people are guesting to the lowest tier servers, so then that must mean even without guests there are overflows. Why always blame the overflows on guests? Is it not possible that servers have enough players to create overflows all by themselves?

Guesting gives people another person to hate on, it’s more enjoyable of those dirty, poor guest-ers are screwing up my gaming then if the cold, emotionless machine somewhere in the cloud is.
Also there’s been a lot of hating toward ANet as well, but that’s for much of the same reason.
