When I was lower level, I really enjoyed the exploring, in several area’s. As soon as I went to Orr, everything changed. I really hated every moment I was in Orr, it sucks, especially to explore and hunt some vistas or points of intrest. As soon as you leave some kind of base, you have to go trough hunderds of Undead who can cripple, poison or even pull you back. If you die, most of the waypoints are contested, because the events are way too hard, and occur too often, and if you really need to pass a place with a contested waypoint, you better give up already, because it became an Undead camp with 20~30 undead concentrated in a small place.

Really, I hope this changes in the future, reduce the number of Risen, or just nerf them. I understand an end game has to be hard and challenging, but it has to be fun, and I don’t have fun when I’m in Orr.

I agree there are way to many undead at first i was like wow but after 15m and getting no where me and a friend had to join up to get anywhere without frustration of things respawning

not many people like orr, but it does get easier when you get exotics. i was so angry at level 72 or 73 because i kept trying to swim in straights of devastation and kept dying and kept having to go back to trinity because all the WPs were contested.

it gets easier :P now the mobs pose no threat to me unless they come in groups of 5+ but it’s still annoying to be dragged and crippled and stunned.

“EndGame” (that ridiculous word that people bring to this game) is not about walking and dodging risens in Orr you know?

Have you completed all exp dungeons?
Have you completed the World Map?
Have you get any legendary weapon?
Have you complete all the achievements?

Orr can be a little bit frustrating if you’re trying to run through mobs to get to pois and vistas. I suggest killing your way there. Not only will you die less, but you’ll make good money too.

Also, no one is forcing you to be in Orr. If you feel you’re not ready for it stay in the lower zones for now. The whole game is end game.

+ There is nothing but Jormag to do in Frostgorge after you complete it, all main quests are in Orr…

Did you even read the post? Or did you hurry to your “My Amazing Quotes” folder to find a snippet to copy-paste as soon as you saw the thread title? All the things you listed require you to spend some time in Orr.

Tbh on the dungeon specific part only Arah is located in Orr and every other dungeon is located elsewhere. And it isn’t like you even have to fight since if it is free you just port to the entrance or have someone zone in for you from a safe location.

Off the top of my head – those can never be contested. And all of them are non Orr related.

With so many hardcore mmo games now days why are you surprise that everyone rushed to get to 80. Its just the way it is . Slow down the leveling and people be crying its taking to long to level. There 1,000’s of Gw2 guides explaining shortcuts or how to or where to find ect.

Thats because gamers all want to beat the games as fast as they can and now we are all at 80 wanting more . Upgrades are on their way if the halloween event did not prove that to you nothing going to make you happy. Start a new class and have some fun on the lower level we all rushed passed.
