I’ve been putting level 80 rare longbows into the forge and getting sub 80 exotics for my efforts. This has happened repeatedly and I’d like to know what the heck is going on here.

And yes something is absurd at Mystic Forge rewarding lvl 70~ when we put 4 80s at it.

They didn’t announce a change to the formula so is this a bug?

What i heard it’s rares to have increased chance to return exotics, yet, not sure if that includes in return they have the chance to be not lvl 80 exotics.
