I would guess from context, that you put in a glob, a coin, and 2 of the others to create the boxes.

It wants a coin, a glob, and TWO stacks (500) of a single excess item.

as far as I recall it was only working on; Butter/Iron Ore/Soft Wood Logs/Green Wood Logs & Dowels/Hard Wood Logs
