Hey, is it intended that we can Mystic Forge the white armor from TP you can’t salvage? You know, the ones that go from 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45… etc…

At the moment, they can be bought incredibly cheap, and turn a massive profit for cloth.

But since they cannot be salvaged, I’m just wondering if it is intended? Thanks!

I honestly don’t know how much profit you can make.

I doubt the profit is that much. Else everyone will be doing it and price will drop significantly.

Even if it is good profit, you need to understand many people find that boring. Take for example, the halloween, I can make 30 gold/hour with maize balm. But I did it for a few hours and give up. It’s just mind bothering boring.

Someone shared me a way to make 30 gold/hour this wintersday. But I still dont’ do it. Because it’s just really boring. You spend all days clicking.

That being said, the market regulate it self. If it’s really profitable, a bunch of people will do it and it’ll no longer be profitable.

I was making 6 gold per skill point a few weeks ago, untill the price catch up and many people is doing it and there is no longer profitable.

Dont know if intended but ppl use it for a quite a long time for turning karma into gold by salvaging forged items into linen. I cant say its extremly profitable but you can make lots of gold. Its also boring as hell:-)

Forging items bought with karma is working as intended. But if the white items from the tp are items bought with coin from a merchant, i would say its an exploit and i would advise you not to do it, if you dont want to get banned.

Edit: I just checked it and it isnt an exploit.
The white unsalvageable items from merchants have a high enough price for them not be profitable to forge for cloth.
If people sell it to you under the merchant price, its their loss and your profit.
Seems legit.

At a vendor price of around 3 silver, these sell quite nicely with a profit, though.
