Mystic Toilet trolled me so hard Today
You didnt bother to check his AP count, did you? Odds are he was neither the new player he claimed nor did he actually get The Legend. He probably posted the chat code instead. Additionally, if you really wanted the precursor, you’re better off saving gold to buy it, not risking it in the forge.
Sorry to hear that but I’m afraid that life is just like that. Good people doesn’t get the gratification that should have and thoe who doesn’t do anything get everything.
Anyway, I don’t know what your aim was for the gamble with MF. If it was to get a precursor because you need it for legendary craft, then i feel you. But if it was a pure gamble to get money out of it.. well, the gamble failed.
Best advice is to play the game and don’t try to get lucky with RNG. Just save it all up, buy what you need. And if you want to get lucky with RNG, then prepare for huge loss.
Nah, the truth is he have 650+ AP and I’m just frustrated and I knew that the best way to get precursor is to buy on tp. And also I’m not angry about it, I make this thread to share my first and last horrible experience in MF
Sounds to me that you have some mixed feelings about your experience. It was really nice of you to help someone by donating that much gold. Personally, I’d be frustrated too, in your shoes.
Still, if you’re earning 22g/day while having fun, then you won’t have too much trouble earning enough to buy the pre you want. I’d recommend taking half of your earnings each week and putting it down on the item and then adding to that each week. You won’t get the precursor at 50g, but before long your offer will be high enough that you might get lucky with a sudden ‘glut’.
That sucks. I also have been gambling with the MF. Crafting rares and tossing in the ones i collect from playing. (Not about to spend a bunch of money to do it.)
So after several months of doing this, i finally got a precursor!!!!
It was Rage…the harpoon gun…sold for 58g….
So after all that time I get the worst possible pre that no one wants. Still am kind of dissappointed.
It’s the chain I beat you with until you
recognize my command!”
That’s the problem with dealing with RNG. If you don’t get it you don’t get it~ no reason in putting much time and effort into it because the results won’t change. Your previous dice roll will never effect the next one. There’s no progression to better odds and you will just fail over and over forever. I’m not gonna spent 1000s of gold on something people spend 1-5 gold and obtained and still end up with nothing. If fate is too much of a **** to let me be one of those people then I’m not messing with it too much.
Also there’s that whole coincidence/theory of people who play/played less having more luck as a form of keeping them going~ True or not I’ve seen it happen so many times that it makes me want to avoid gambling and effort towards RNG even more. XD
I pretty much throw 4 rare GS into the MF once a week or longer depending on if they drop and I remember to stash them. To me the results I get are the equivalent of putting hundreds of gold into the forge a day.
My Incinerator I made back when precursor prices were down really low @ 150g. Good old Ancient Karka~ how I miss you. Precursor scavenger huntza commith though so hold onto your dosh.
This is the problem with RNG, but it happens. Some years ago, in Tera, i tried to upgrade my weapon and a few friends from my guild gave me a ton of fodder equipment for me to do it. I failed to get it to +9 even though they gave me enough fodder to upgrade 8 weapons 9 times over. One of them then got his own weapon in front of me to +9 on his first try.
It happens, it sucks, but it happens.

Don’t blame you one bit. It’s an ongoing issue. This game is filled with redundancies that do nothing for the game and magic find is one of those. It’s there only for show.
Theres a long history so far of these mechanics. CC that doesn’t actually CC, reflects that don’t actually reflect, magic find that makes no difference in the loot you get.
You would think by now someone would notice and finally say “hey, what the heck are we doing in this game?!”
