I have 2 stacks of them and i have no interest in making any legendaries. Should i just sell them earning about 500 gold or keep them for some other crafting?

They can be crafted into weapon skins that are far more profitable to sell than just outright selling the coins.
Downside is that the weapon skin may take a while to actually sell, while the coins should move almost instantly.
Look at:

If none of things listed as requiring Mystic Coins interest you, then I’d say sell. However, if you are uncertain whether you might want to make one or more, then maybe sell some and hold some.
Was honestly expecting another thread about the price of MC.
Before you sell, I would go through the list of weapon skins that are made with MC (there are ~90 non legendary skins that require MC) and make any that you think you will want. Especially ones that are part of collections, that way if you ever decide to do the collection you don’t have to worry about MC.

Do you know of any good list where i can see a list of theese skins? using the wiki is quite messy.

This is the list I use.

Here are the questions I’d ask in your shoes:
And I’d act accordingly:
I did exactly that a while ago. Made the non-legendaries that were of interest, mass-sold the coins down to 500, and now sell any I get, keeping 500 for that “someday maybe” fund.

Here are the questions I’d ask in your shoes:
- Do I have an immediate use for the mystic coins?
- Do I have an immediate use for the gold I would earn?
And I’d act accordingly:
- No+No: Hold; I can afford two inventory slots to save something worth 80s-1.1g per unit.
If it were me, I’d think about what I expected to happen in the future. If you;
BUT if you expect Arenanet to respond to the forum feedback (lawl!) you should short them (sell them now and buy them back when the price goes down – if you want them in order to craft a thing addressed by others above).

A few people should worry about the future uses of m-coins. I don’t think most people need to, in particular not the OP who already has two stacks of surplus.
Besides which, unless the OP has an immediate use for the gold, there’s no rush to sell. And if there’s is an immediate use for the gold, that almost certainly trumps any tiny chance that they need the m-coins in the long run — because they’ll be earning more and can buy more before that potential is realized.
I sold mine but now I regret it as I made my legendaries and sold the rest to help by the pre for the last one I made.
However mystic coins aren’t just used for weapons their used for the nightfury shoulder bat aura and winters presence with the snowfall too. While I’d really like an ascended queen bee aura myself the issue is that more auras may come in the future then again a mystic coin farm other than ley line may come too.
So if you have no interest in current weapons and current auras I’d say go ahead and sell them.
Keep 1 stack as they are still releasing legendary weapons and they may come out with one you really like. If that’s the case then you will need 250 of them which is about that in gold.
If gold means nothing to you then just sell and be happy however as others have mentioned there’s some non legendary skins which are nice, spirit weapons and elementalist conjure skins come to mind.
Edit: it’s worth pointing out that you get 20 coins per 28 day cycle and there’s about 13 cycles a year which works out at 260 per year. This means in order for you to get a full stack back you’d have to not use them at all for a full year.

You need around 2 stacks per HoT legendary unless you are getting your clovers some other way.

same but be careful with that many of the named exotics have other way more expensive mats that they require.
