I’m aware I’m a smug kitten.

And aparently even more lucky than smug.

Both time’s I used rare’s.

There’s a funny back story to the staff, if anyone’s interested.

I just hope they eventually change the precursors to have real recipes instead of RNG. There are so many awesome forge weapons you can craft with specific recipes. It boggles my mind why you can’t craft a precursor with a specific recipe.

And I hope you understand how phenomenally miniscule the chances of you getting what you got are…

If thats for real you are one lucky guy! You can sell one of them and buy all the stuff you need to make the other one If only i was that lucky.

Yeah, I heard somewhere that they’re (A-Net I presume) are going to change how precursors are obtained, It actually sounded more fun but we’ll see.

And yeah I’m sort of aware, the staff was my first try, too.

Omg what are the odds of that. There are so many who have been throwing hundreds of rare and exotic items in the forge and gotten nothing.

I hope they add some more ways to get the precursers soon. It would be nice if the scavenger hunt will require some skill to complete. But i guess it will just be another gold sink.

I have had them pictures of a while, Just not done anything with them, I only made this thread because I was on teamspeak and someone couldn’t believe me and said it’s super rare and people would like to see it.

I kept The Legend (As you can see, I’m an ele) And I sold Dusk for 440G-ish.

Trying to take a picture in-game but it just take’s a picture of my screen as if guild wars is minimized, maybe I’l make a short clip of it if anyone cares that much.

Ah, if you use your scroll wheel (If using a mouse) click the pictures to open them in another tab and look in the URL, it has the date I took them pictures (SS means screen shot)

What’s getting lucky on the mystic toilet got to do with it being good?

even admitting a sense of “smugness” just kinda puts this in the silly pointless category aside from to prove the chance is not actually 0.00% ie bugged this thread has no meaning.

You getting lucky a couple times doesn’t make the system any less awful.

Well, the way I got Dusk was a test which seem’d to work..But with only one test and none after..It’s hardly been proved but my friend is 100% sure it’s bullkitten and don’t work, Basically I had loads of blues and kept putting them in for ages getting out blues, once I got about 15 failed attempts at getting a green I put the rare’s in and got that out.

Everytime I touch the mystic forge, I die a little on the inside.

Today I found my long lost sister who it seems fell into the forge 8 years ago. Trapped and helpless, she lived offf the meager offerings of food being tossed into the forge.

She said there were others there. They are probably hungry.

I agree, it’s not all bad, the only thing bad is attempting to get precursors from it.

don’t feed the rng troll, perhaps grind one or more items for which are materials based rather than rng, that match or come close to the value of your desired precursor, list, cross thumbs, sell and salivate
