I’ve been salvaging a lot of rares with Mystic Salvage kit (same as Master Salvage Kit) and i get as most 1 Ecto from salvaging a rare. When using Black Lion Salvage Kit i get up to 3 Ectos from salvaging a rare. Is this a bug or a hidden intentional bluff?

Neither. You can get 0-3 ectos with either kit, but the BL kit has a higher average. How many thousands of rares have you salvaged with each?
