NPC reactions !
We sort of had this in GW1 – if you started dancing or playing an instrument your heroes/henchmen would join in. But for GW2 I don’t see how this would work, how would the NPC’s choose which PC actions to respond to? What’s to stop people from just standing there making NPC’s cheer? etc.
itd be cool to have more npc/player interaction. id really enjoy that.
however the cost/reward of coding them would be pretty skewed. so unless someone decided to do it for free i dont think itd happen, lol.
One cute feature that City of Heroes had was citizen NPCs would mention your character by name as random dialog like “Did you here that <character name> saved those hostages in the sewer?”
It added a friendly feel to the game.
RIP City of Heroes
That would be neat. Other games have small interactions like that and it gives the game so much more life.
In GW1 there was an NPC in Tarnished Haven that would praise you for which title tracks you had completed.
Anyone remember dancing with Abbadon? (sp)
He would dance with you, and then when he finished, he’s one-shot wipe the group

Except for when it was where the NPCs would be having a normal conversation, then suddenly insert “Lord Nemesis is watching you, <hero name>.” Then they’d go right back to the conversation as if nothing had happened.
Loved that one. Only happened if you’d been doing missions against Nemesis forces, naturally.
delicate, brick-like subtlety.
