Can there maybe be an upgraded version of Naegling in the future? Like “Empowered Naegling” or something like that; adding particle effects to the sword.

Some particle effect ideas:
Flashing red eyes
Ominous red glow
A screech sound effect upon wielded.

Idk stuff like that.

I main necro, more specifically a blood magic necro, and I have been searching and searching for a sword that would fit a blood magic reaper well. The only one besides Twilight (I just dont wanna) that looks the part is Naegling but still feels a bit.. bland. Idk. Just a thought.

The giant bat sword is also an option (i do gots that) but.. idk…

Since the Reaper has a chill that show up on the attack and transforms the greatsword’s appearance, why not one of the ice themed ones like Cobalt or Crystal Guardian, Corrupted Avenger or even Belladonna.

Finding a good Reaper Greatsword has been a personal quest for a while. I think Twilight probably is the best, but some of the ones posted above are compelling as well.

You do know unlocking the Reaper line will give you a new Greatsword skin designed specifically for them, yes?

If you played GW1 and got enough HoM points… Fellblade is always the correct choice.
