Name 1 thing you want changed/added
New dungeons, new weapons, new armors, new story… its time to give us the beeest content you got anet<
New zones!
I would love to see more of this blurred out world map fleshed out.
Dueling (outside of arenas). I know its not a game designed for it, but there are enough people who inhabit those duel games that it would be fun.
Guild overflows where guild command can invite people in that arent in the guild
Drop-down menus so we can switch megaservers and play with our friends instead of depending on the luck of the draw.
New game.
Aelius Brightmane (Charr, Zerk Grenade Engineer, 80) |
Tilaw Stainsoul (Charr, Zerk Staff Elementalist, 80) | Evi Shadowstep (Charr, Zerk Ranger 80) |
New game.
Clever. Any other brilliant features you’d like to see?
6 slot Common storage that can be used from any charicter from anywhere
Removal of megaservers and simple server mergers instead. Later on making the empty zones worth playing instead of cramming hundreds of people together.
William S. Burroughs
From Living Story back to the good old expansions model.
~Sincerely, Scissors
A bank in the Heart of the Mist.
Solo dungeon paths added to each dungeon.
Elite Templar skin from GW1. That and Elite Platemail!
New Zones. Explorers like me have it rough in this game. Face lifts to zones don’t cut it. With how fast whole new games with new professions came out in GW1, I never thought it would take this long to get more than one new zone which is what we have gotten in PvE.
warrior trait cleansing ire to be like this: Gain adrenaline when hit, remove 2-3 conditions every 7 seconds
Wanted.
One sword.
Good for use in a single hand.
Must be well kept (polished) and free of nicks, blemishes, or stains.
Must be purely functional. No frills, ribbons, tassels, bells, whistles, gizmos, do-dads, widgets, buttons, etchings, or gimmicks of any kind.
Must serve as a sword and nothing more. The perfect choice for a no-nonsense serious character who doesn’t care about how shiny something looks, only about how it functions, and that it must function without flaw.
Also wanted for my ranger:
A hammer. Approximately double my mass with attack animations that take this into consideration.
//Portable Corpse
Static gathering nodes so I can harvest again https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Suggestions-Compromise-for-harvesters/
A good, color-coded, always-visible combat log.
I’m usually really sweet… but this an internet forum and you know how it has to be.
/i’m a lesbiab… lesbiam… less bien… GIRLS/
A sigil and rune unlock feature.
i know i would have paid gems by now to have a outgoing mail expander….say twenty items instead of five
The end of the stonewalling and equal engagement on the part of the developers with all facets of the forum community, rather than the overemphasis and misguided resource allocation on sPvP/tPvP (the e-Sport ship has sailed, boys and girls; better start focusing on other areas of the game).
player housing with an environment you can manipulate and enhance over time.
I want weapon presets. Especially now that the menu is eve less streamline.
With the ability to change traits at will and no extra cost now, a full template system akin to that of GW1 would be a nice additional improvement.
The laurel prices on WvW gear and infusions is just evil. I don’t think it’s right to have honor gear locked behind a currency that you can only gain 7 a week plus 10 a month, and have them cost 20-40 each plus another 5 for infusions. There’s no reasoning to it. I’m not in WvW to be on an artificial gear treadmill. I can just go play WoW for that experience.
id like an ability to hide achievements ive already completed :P
Personally i want megaservers gone back into the dark pit that they’ve spawned from….outside of that some gneral UI streamlining would help, also a template saver, better optimization, and better overall scaling mechanics of the world bosses if we are stuck with the eternal mega-zerg…also add in a better method to discover gathering nodes thanks to their randomization per map shard or having their locations unified over shards. It takes me 1 h 30 just to do a t6 run for malchors, cursed, southsun and fgs sorry but i can’t stop at one :p
A utility bar to be able to put food, wvw bluprints, equipment, tonics etc. Shouldn’t be hard… Opening inventory and search for things in the middle of action is a real pain.
Stats switch on ascended.

Being able to swap out weapon skills would be nice. Using the same skills over and over again gets very boring very quickly.
Saving Trait Builds.
kitten Anet i’m not even asking for much, make it happen
Jade Quarry (NA)
Completely delete anything pertaining too WvWvW, Copy and paste in DAoC’s RvR without watering it down like ESO/WAR/GW2. Add in 3 factions instead of this dumb server vs server vs server crap.
The return of Living Story to be cancelled, in favor of permanent expansion-style content.
Changed? Lead Designer
Added? Non kittenty medium armors
The option to not receive whisper’s and mail from players I don’t know about. I’m sick and tired of these pm’s from gold sellers, and the worst part is nothing has been done about it since day 1.
How hard is it to implement such a feature? Not that hard.
Hmmm I want A LOT of change… But let’s name it.
- Changed? Ranger’s mechanism to an “initiative/endurance” based one without Weap. CDs.
- Added? Elona or Cantha. New maps with roleplay things.
“A man chooses; a slave obeys.” | “Want HardMode? Play Ranger!”
One thing? I’d like RP servers with good moderators and GM’s keeping it RP.
mob AI ,
mobs which are veterans should act like veterans and not like fat rookies.
ranged veteran mobs should have melee attack, or they should be able to CC the player in order to regain range.
melee veteran mobs should be able to deal with “out of reach” players, via ranged attack.
vet mobs should be able to get out of AOE area, and use ranged attacks on players.
vet mobs should use some boons and conditions.
vet mobs should use block, dodge or heal depend of its archetype.
vet mobs should use more AOE or cleaves.
angry mobs (not the ones who got proximity aggro, but the ones who got hit) should have their leash longer and pursue players .
A different business model.
I’d settle for a different developer interaction style, to put hope back into playing a game where my guildmates aren’t saying " I just can’t log in. The things the devs did to my characters and to my community make me sick to my stomach."
I’d settle for the same attitude GW2’s current competition has: “…the devs are listening”.
Apologies to the dead horse.
Once upon a time (about 15 years ago) in the huge company I work in, it was realized that a business was no longer attracting new customers and would have to do its best with the customers it had.
After much consideration, the product development team of this business was halved in size, and a number of people I had worked with found themselves in (or looking for) new jobs. Like the people at ArenaNet, these were good people, and all found worthy endeavours in short order.
But that’s not the point of this story. The point is, that the remaining people in this business were told that their jobs depended on making the customers the business had happy, which would be measured by whether those customers stuck around and the size of the checks they continued to write.
Funny thing: customer satisfaction went way up. The developers stopped doing anything which would drive a customer away, and focused on doing what their customers wanted.
Should have happened years before.
Enough said.
Make world dugeons harder with epic boss fight at end<-that way large guilds can do it or small groups have fun. Also improve rewards of world dungions
I want new zones but not like Southsun. Southsun was added but is mostly useless compared to all that was places in the original maps. I can accept most of the game’s flaws but new zones, new proper zones would go a long way instead of pointless living story content that really ends up being do this and do that for X amount of something to gain achievements and maybe some items.
I understand Anet may be planning to open up more of the game world and create new zones but they really should give a bit more than they currently are if they want to continue to make the profit they want. A lot of people are fine with how the game currently is but also a lot of people are not fine with it and imo that should matter a lot because every unhappy player might just go elsewhere and no longer buy gems for the gem store in GW2.
If I feel like I don’t want to do things on GW2 that i’ve perhaps done too much then I’ll just take a break from the game. It really doesn’t bother me all that much but I just can’t not be bothered by all of the blurred spaces on the world map since we all know eventually they’ll create new zones in those blurred spaces. I just hope Anet doesn’t wait too long on this because not everyone is patient enough.
There’s also the fact to consider that some people simply play far too much and that is why some people run out of things to do but aside from that this game does still need new zones. I just hope Anet doesn’t give us more crap like Southsun that is, for the most part, utterly useless. While I’m typing, it would be nice for Anet to actually read this and consider making Southsun more like Cursed Shore where there are events to do, champs to farm, more gathering to do and just more to do overall.
The ability to filter by armor weight in the trading post.
-Mike O’Brien
Because we can’t be angry about both?
I’m going to be cheeky and lump a lot of stuff under the one title of "Overall Game Arc Completion." It runs thusly:
1. Anet releases an expansion related to Mordremoth, which includes permanent map additions/campaigns/dungeons where appropriate.
2. Next, they release expansion related to Jormag*, which includes permanent map additions/campaigns/dungeons where appropriate.
3-5. Rinse repeat for other dragons. Also feel free to add extra mini non-dragon content for flavoursome switch-ups (standard festivals, SAB, etc. Request SAB to be permanent content, although I personally cannot take part in it).
*Or any of the other Elder Dragons. Not fussed on the order, just would like the set-up to have the pay-off it demands.
Better Trading Post user interface.
RIP City of Heroes

(Message Body length must at least be 15)
Light/medium/heavy armor filter in the trading post.
And maybe a general cleanup in it’s categories. ‘Gathering’ for instance is an has always been empty, same with ‘Weapon > Toy’.
“manual override” of megaserver.
Greetings.
