Well gear used to have the name of the skin you transmuted over it , now the name of the skin that’s the original item.
(rampagers pearl staff, transmute with final rest was called final rest, now no longer: it is the pearl staff again )

I CANNOT FIND ANYTHING ANYMORE!

Calm down. You just transfered the skin of Final Rest to the Item called “Rampagers… Staff”. With these new skins and stuff, the name is tied to the base item, not to the skin.
I haven’t tested it, but if i put a Legendary skin on a green item, the name won’t change to the name of the legendary. It makes sense, so just deal with it. It’s no big deal
