Something really seems off with this event. I’ve done it a couple of times since they buffed it and both times there were about 3-5 people and we were completely overrun by champions, elites, and veterans.

Meanwhile, after you inevitably lose the DE, there’s immediately another one to reclaim/liberate which is incredibly simple and takes about 30 seconds to complete.

Is this intended? It seems really stupid.

It does seem silly that the liberation event is so easy, but I’m all for the initial defense being difficult. The event is basically a WB fight, cause you get the WB chest for beating it. It makes sense for it to be difficult, and for people to understand what they’re supposed to be doing. Half the time everyone zergs into the stampeding horde and dies.

Yeah the difficulty of that defense event is not worth the one rare you get for completing it.

From what I understand, Nebo doesn’t scale properly. I believe it’s not intended but I’ve never seen official confirmation that this is the case.

Since they changed it, I’ve managed to do it successfully once out of the times I’ve tried. Every other time ended the same way: Stunlocked trampled to death and then event failure.

I’ve created a Roleplay guild that focuses around protecting the terrace, and I can say we beat it now 19 times out of 20. It’s all about a good strategy, along with having a decent amount of players. If you play it right, it’s a cakewalk. Although I do agree that something needs to be done about the liberation event. Like the centaurs send hundreds of troops to cap it, and basically abandon it after it’s captured.

When the number of champs exceeds the number of players present, there’s definitely something wrong.

It may be intentional, though, to allow the event chains dependent on it to cycle by making it fail.

Or not. Hard to tell.

Well the issue is that the event scales way out of control when there are only a handful of players present, which is what happens the vast majority of the time.

It really doesn’t make any sense. I think someone screwed something up when they tampered with it a while back.

Basically, as aforementioned by someone else, it’s a world boss. So a decent amount of players is almost required to see it through.
