This is a minor complaint, I suppose. But the lich form Elite Skill for Necromancer on females is not female? It’s just an aesthetic thing that kinda bugs me. This bug anyone else?

I’ve always taken it that you transform into a lich, not the other way around. If a Lich is male, then you transform into a male.

Much like the way that the Bear Form and stuff works, its always a big bulky bear, even if you make a skinny Norn.

the lich form looks the same on all races and genders, the most politically correct skill in this game tbh

I’m fine with it since it’s a transformation.

Its not like I expect the tentacle to have a gender when I transform using my fractal tonic.

Nope. All necros are male liches to begin with, they transform to any given race and gender.

When you transform “into” the lich, you are actually just breaking concentration to transform out your humanoid form.

So basicly they are all transformers: liches in disguise.

Not sure what your point is then, if thats the lore of the Lich and the Necro connection (cause I have 0 clue) then that’s the lore.

If anything, I’m glad they don’t have Female Liches if all liches are male because that would be adding in females for the sake of adding females, which imo should NEVER happen. A character should be male / female based on the narrative not to please an audience. If the narrative allows either gender (Give the player a choice) then it doesn’t matter either way.

I would like a Guardian to have red / orange flames instead of blue or for Mesmers to have different colour Illusions rather then just purple. But thats the Narrative for GW2, so it stays as such.

I don’t see the lich form as being male so I don’t see the need for an overtly female form.

The lich is a genderless being. it’s a floating skeleton cloaked in shadows and rags tethers.
It can’t be male, it has no hips to have bell hanging on. It can’t be female it has no fatty on its chest. its genderless

I never thought of doing that. Riding my Magic Carpet in Lich form should be a thing too then.

In GW1 a Halloween NPC called Nameless Lich would show up on the Shiverpeaks (https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Droknar's_Forge) and would say not much but, interestingly, it had a clearly female model. So that in game NPC alone would give leeway of claiming there can be more “female looking” Liches, though I doubt they have any specific gender bias once they’re powerful undying skeletons.
