So my friend is playing a necromancer and I was wondering which profession compliments Necromancer the best in both PvE and PvP.
Explain why aswell. Thanks =)

Any class will duo well. If your friend wants to play the fotm class then tell them to roll guardian or warrior.

My friend is the one playing the necromancer. Is Necro fotm right now? Or did you mean that guardian/warrior is fotm?
Also I know most classes will go well with eachother. But if one wanted to min/max? I just have a very hard time deciding what to play and want something that motivates me.
Thanks for reply

I think engineer/necro would be fun and would give each other neck breaking support, putting on tons of chill, weakness, blind, and poison… working players down with no hope of recovery… mwahahahaha

War/guard are the fotm. If you like a paladin type class go with guardian. They can do great DPS or great healing or good at both. My main is a necro and by far my favorite class. I now have a ranger in the 50s and a guard in the 30s. But as I said before all classes are viable just some have a much higher skill lvl to master then say a warrior.

If you want to min/max, then warrior/guardian are always good choices.

Actions, not words.

Mmmm… Warrior just has a much lower skill floor, doesn’t necessarily mean it doesn’t require much to master. They just don’t require much skill to succeed with atm.

I would go with a class that doesn’t focus on condition damage. Ele might be a good fit. Both of you can sit back and beat on stuff.

I won’t stop because I can’t stop.

It’s a medical condition, they say its terminal….

Both Enginner and Necro can both be fine even without condition damage. I run both in bog-standard KnightZerk and full Zerk gear and haven’t noticed a huge difference in output damage compared to classes that don’t rely on conditions.

The Engi has medium HP, tons of heals if you use the Elixer Gun and blast finishers and can reset their HP very fast, so they’re well-suited to higher armor. Support Engi is literally a blast. The Necro is the opposite, huge health, an extra HP bar and more suited to Vitality or nothing at all, like the Warrior they can go full glasscannon offense very easy and with little regret and Mark- & Well-based gameplay means you don’t even have to use minions if you aren’t into that kind of thing.
