I know Google exists, but it’s very difficult for me to find the right pictures. Is there a place I can go to explore Old Lion’s Arch in its entirety? Either that, or can you guys help me collect pictures and maps?

Why do I need these? I’m writing my character’s story (see in my sig), and to finish Chapter 12, I need to be able to describe Old Lion’s Arch.

I have a number of screenshots but you might want to run the Personal Story and pick chapters set in LA. Those will all be in old LA, though you’ll be instance-restricted to certain parts at a time. Turn off your post processing to remove the sepia.

I found those while looking for the thread where someone had a “we’re losing LA, quick screenshot ALL THE THINGS” reaction shortly before the attack.

Try doing a google search for “images Lion’s Arch gallery” to get more. But the Personal Story that lets you run around in old LA is your best bet for really getting a feel for it.

Well, I’ve been here since launch, but I took a two year break. When I returned, Lion’s Arch had already been destroyed, and was in shambles.

Also, without the ability to replay the personal story, I’m in a bit of trouble (most of my characters are past those parts).

I believe http://www.tyria3d.com has the old Lion’s Arch maps available for flying through. Should be of use to you.

I’ll see if I can dig up an image of the old map that has the location names displayed on it.
