Hi,

My question is, how can i collect masteries for my elite specialisation without doing PvE? I play only PvP and WvW. For pvp it’s no problem, we got it there what i really like. In WvW should be the same.
I tried the HoT PvE content, but i hate it so much, it’s so boring, don’t want to enter these maps again. And it takes ages to max elite spec. Especially if you feel bored it takes even longer. PvE is just no enjoynment for me. Any other possibilitys to get masteries in WvW?

You don’t need masteries in WvW. It’s PvE thing.

You can buy hero point from ranking up in WvW I think.

you can’t lvl up masteries in wvw, not yet atleast. And they don’t even function there so it kind of makes sense that you can’t. The Elite spec however can be acquired from WvW, you get these new items, I forget the name, from rank up chests, 10 of those and some badges of honor and you can complete one random Hero Challenge in the HoT maps, 25 of those and you have your Elite. It’s slow and maybe not the ideal solution but it does free you from doing Pve.

wvw masteries like arrow cart mastery, catapult mastery etc ? gain more ranks…

I think he mean mastery tracks, one of those tracks give auto pickup skill that very usefull in wvw
“Learn to automatically pick up loot from fallen foes and gain a greater swiftness bonus for your party in cities.” actually its bugged i know.. but when AN will fix it its gonna work also on wvw.
To do that track he need to do PVE stuff

That track doesn’t do anything in WvW. Autoloot doesn’t work there. And that’s not a bug, it’s intended to now work in WvW.

Though I think ANet works on an alternative to autoloot for WvW. Maybe a new WvW mastery?

Use those Proof of heroics you get from wvw chests to unlock as many hero points as you want on your characters. No reason to ever set foot in pve.

Dont tell me that is not a bug i found on some external forums that is gonna be fixed. I spend like 3 days to get that option, i’m playing only wvw. In big fights its lot of usless clicking.

Arenanet said they might offer the option of autoloot for wvw.

It will likely not be part of the pve mastery. Maybe a wvw tree that can be bought with wvw points.
