Need some more Japanese themed skins
NO, not right now perhaps if the open Cantha again
I’d prefer this for when Cantha is remade for gw2. For now let them focus on fixes and content.

I absolutely agree they should focus on fixes and content, but in the mean while they are still going to add skins on a fairly frequent basis. I’m simply making a suggestion of what I know many people would like to see, myself included. Why should they wait for Cantha? Again they already have some Japanese themed weapons in the game, so it is not a far fetched wish for them to add more to simply round out the ability to customize your character’s appearance.
Well Belinda’s Greatsword was lore reasons, so are the outfits, excluding ninja, to an extend. The others you speak of are out of context I suppose.
If they waited till cantha then they could have the full design focus of oriental skins. While now they’d just have limited focus.

I’d hate for them to sink that low, but judging by the incredible number uncultured people running around with a Japanese name above their heads, I’d agree that Anet will need to make a lot more weeb content to make quick easy money. A weeb’s shallowness is pathetic but that also means they’re far easier to rob. I’d do it if I were anet. Could even consider renaming Cantha to Japantha or something in the future.

Sounds like someone needs a hug. Why is anyone uncultured for choosing a character name? That has to be one of the most unproductive and petty remarks I’ve seen on here in a while… and that’s saying something.

What’s wrong with people for liking anime? There are even adults who like it.
We’ve had Belinda’s Greatsword in game a while now, as well as Usoku’s Needle. Would love to see a Yari/Naginata staff, a Yumi long bow, a Kanabo hammer, a Kama axe. There are several other items that could be implemented.
To go with the weapons we’ve also had the Shadow Assassin outfit but nothing else. I for one would love to see some actual Samurai themed armor, heck even a kimono/hakama outfit would be great!

I think martial arts themed elite specs would fit the bill like ninja for warrior or monk for thief (somewhat similar to druid for some skills but uses bare hands that have ascended mender’s stats and is for burst damage and healing) and black belt for guardian (focus on CC and single target and like monk also bare hands but with paladin’s stats instead).
