For the past 2 weeks or so, my salvage rate of obtaining Ectos from both rares and exotics seems to have gone way down using both BL and Mystic kits. Has something been changed?

After just salvaging ~300 rares from the marionette, no.

There are days that i salvage 2-3 ectos from each rare, and other days that i get 0 ectos from 5-6 rares in a row.

Just like everything that depends on RNG, you can get better or worse days.

I disagree, based on my limited anecdotal evidence, I think ecto rates have been stealth buffed.

Mine sucked last week, great this week. Its RNG – they stated they would mention any deliberate nerfs. Any accidental would need people to salvage a massive massive number to provide them with evidence of any change.

Limited anecdotal evidence is limited and anecdotal.

Ecto prices going down, T6 mats going up.

Theres like a set amount to how much ecto u can get per day i think. At least I’m paranoid of there being a cap to it coz after I salvaged 50 more rares that day..waay less ecto than I would’ve expected :C

It’s rng, lately it’s been bad for me (I started just selling rares instead). But it will come back around.

I posted like last week or so – mine sucked then and I thought then what you do now – they’re back to “normal” now… I suspect RNG hates on the player.
