Nevermore Footprints -- Issue
Lol, that thing already gives enough attention.
Why do you think it’s called Nevermore? Never more than one footprint…

You cant be serious.. Can I get an exchange on staff then please….
It seems to be a trend with most of the HoT legendaries, I have the same issue with Chuka and Champawat. The claws are less and disappear after maybe two to three seconds. When compared to its Dreamer counterpart its… slightly upsetting. I’d love to stand on equal ground with my equine cousin.. instead of being the more subtle of the two.. I mean shouldn’t the tiger be loud and fierce over a horse?

well… last time i checked a tiger was sthealty :P
Lol true as that is, they aren’t stealthy all the time I would just like to be on par with the Dreamer. On the Dreamer you can see the horses better and the footsteps are longer than Chuka and Champawat.
Maybe they can make it louder when in combact. More footprints and more large when the weapon is wielded.
There were several complains about too prominent footfall effects from older legendaries. That’s why they made the new ones a bit more decent.
Also I don’t think all too pompous footfalls would fit Nevermore. It’s a dark/mystic/forresty weapon. Not a kittening Circus.
‘would of been’ —> wrong

cause all we want is another ponybow /s
Chuka has a problem too. It needs to spawn baby tiger spirits from the footprints that follow you for 5~ seconds and fade away.

I’m not asking for pompous anything…. There is literally no foot trail whatsoever. you take 1 step get a print then gone in like 1/4 second. Also sometime you take a step and there no footprint at all. It is not fair. If I wanted a pretty staff could have just got the tempest skin staff.
TL;DR — Nevermore needs foot trails.
YES, that would be awesome. Maybe have them be raven foot prints that are blue-ish and fade slowly. It would be amazing!

Ehi i was cheering him up :P

I have Nevermore and also Astralaria and I can assure you that Nevermore indeed has footfalls. You usually see 3-4 when walking, they fade away rather fast, same with Astralaria, but I like it how it is.

I love this! Leave behind raven foot prints or even just a reflective glowing puddle after the initial dissipation/effect, which I adore and wouldn’t want to see changed.
I worked very hard for my Nevermore and it is rather dissappointing to be outdone by Kudzu, et al with their lingering footfalls.
I agree with OP. Look on the Eternity:
This is weird that these blue feathers disappear so quickly. Even Sunrise’s and Twilight’s last longer.
this is how i feel with all the new legendaries. while the effects of nevermore during combat are pretty obvious, chuka and champawat feels worthless. Everyone can tell when someone is using a dreamer, even with sound off and even out of combat. i wouldnt know anyone had the HoT bow unless they told me.
they are supposed to be the new legendaries. they shouldnt feel like anet put less time into them than the previous ones. If i put that much work into getting a skin, other people should be able to tell i have it.
I personaly hope that they wont change it. I don’t like long foottrails. I would like to turn them off for many legendarys. The first two legendarys i crafted where flameseeker and howler because they didn’t have those annoying foottrails (or at least they were less anoying).
TLDR: please don’t change Nevermores footprints to long lasting ones.
They don’t need to last forever like eternity, but they should at least appear to exist.
Not everyone is a Skritt.
I’ve crafted Nevermore precisely because it doesn’t leave behind a huge trail like some 1st gen legendaries. And actually, the main reason why I don’t have H.O.P.E. yet is because I’m unsure about its flashy red / blue footsteps, even though I love the skin of the weapon itself.
Now, don’t get me wrong: if Anet wanna go back to the 1st gen legendaries way with the upcoming weapons, why not, but I would be kittened if they changed a weapon I have already crafted, precisely because of its overall look. I may also add you also knew what Nevermore looked like before crafting it (if ou have), so you also knew what to expect.

when i made it i honestly thought there were no footfalls. thats ok, i can understand that choice. what i cant understand is adding an effect that you have to zoom in and stare at just to see at all. to me that means anet is either wasting time or not spending enough time on legendary effects.
Looks like they did fix the footfall trail a bit with Shashoodoo. -la sigh- If only tiger claw marks would last a few seconds more now a pony and a quaggan are more noticeable then a tiger T_T
