Guild Wars 2

I just purchased Guild Wars 2 this past weekend and I’ve been loving it. I noticed that I cant mail any items or money to my friends. I was wondering, when I can mail items? They have given me some nice gear but I can’t do anything to return the favor.

I don’t know if its level wise or activity wise dependent. I had bought another account to see that i couldn’t attach items to the mail.
However the attachment’s section was unlocked on the 5th day i logged into the account. I was level 21 then.
Must be a form of protection to make sure that people don’t take advantage of the “make money quickly with alt account”.

Pretty sure its time based, and meant to hinder gold sellers who buy dozens of new accounts to keep their operations running (as they’re constantly banning them).

It’s based on time and/or activity, but Anet won’t give any specific details because the system is there to hinder gold sellers and they don’t want them to be able to work around it.

But basically you just need to wait and you’ll be able to pay your friends back later on. Hopefully they did it because they genuinely want to help and not to get something from you so they won’t mind.

Waiting is fine with me. I thought I would ask in here since I really didn’t find anything thing about it online. It’s not a bad idea to stop gold sellers though. I’m on my third day right now and level 22 so maybe by next week sometime I can mail items/gold.
