I just logged in after some time and saw the Ad Infinitum glider was changed in July 25th update.

I abhor the new design.
I grinded almost three months to get this glider.
The original design looked like the organically, naturally moving backpiece wings.
The new one looks stiff, and static. Kinda generic tbh.

Dear Anet,
at least give us an option to use the old design, since – and I am very certain of this – many people went through the process of crafting Ad Infinitum to get the (original) glider.

Personally majority of people I know crafted it for the reason of how backpiece looks and/or stat swapping ability. I know literally nobody (except you now) who liked old glider design, everyone were giving exactly the same feedback back then: it’s missing trail that even most basic gliders have and it looks too small to glide with. Everyone has own tastes, therefore I fully respect yours and must say that it’s a shame for you but nothing will be changed sadly.

In my opinion if they just reworked skins people are posting about like Eternity that is locked into only one time of the day, old and new versions of skins they reworked, it would be great indeed, in the end it’s just a matter of adding new skin that unlocks automatically because it’s triggered by the fact that you have your original old skin, pretty easy to code really.

But yeeee, to do things like that and have items that players truly love and are happy with… They would need to probably hire me hahaha. If it was my work I would easily sit on forums and reddit and whatnot and collect feedback and spread it to proper teams in company, probably a lot of it I would code myself aswell, it’s a job afterall.
