Just previewed it for females

Light armor corset that you can actually use gloves with, I approve very much.

Medium armor still stuck in a trench coat… but! It comes with a really cool wrap-around skirt, which you can see… if you are using the single non-cultural armor that isn’t a trench coat…

Heavy armor looks like medium armor, leather with fur and all, except that it isn’t a trench coat… so it couldn’t be medium armor…

That is great to hear, I know the light reminds me of a few Gw1 armors for necromancer so that brought a glint to my eye

Not yet, they just showed up in the magical mists wardrobe, and so far as anybody knows are not connected to any content yet.

Looks like Brahams armor.

Remove the lower half of the medium armor coat that’s hanging below the belt line, and that armor would have been great. (on both males and females)

imo Magitech should be Heavy and Braham should be Medium. magitech loosk 100x heavier than it… idc if Braham is a Guardian.

As a Norn Engineer, Magitech is everything I could ask for and more.

They should just let us skin them onto anything like Radiant/Hellfire. c.c At this point it makes no sense anymore when medium is wearing heavy stuff.

The Light armor is basically Kasmeer’s armor. :O

Feels like something outa Star Wars with my colors. XD

Ele actually. It’s all in the preview and I just really, really love the new Aetherized pistol skin.

(And I will totally erect a statue in Anet’s honor if they let Elementalists dual wield pistols WildStar style.)

Those light armors are absolutely stunning. I love both the male and female version (The Female isnt that the one Lady Kasmeer is wearing?)

I hope A-Net puts both of those Armors really soon into the cash shop because they will have me buy 4 of those (2x light so i can have them both on my male mage and female mesmer both in pve as in pvp.)

Wow. How about some pants for female light armor for once? I’m so sick of dresses, lingerie and knee-highs. I want normal armor or robes. You know, for going into combat. I’m a powerful mage and want some dignity.

The medium one is hideous

I really like the light and medium female armors.
Any idea if the feathers on the light armor makes up part of the coat or the leggings?

I hope we get these in the shop very soon
My only problem is that I am now running out of characters to put all these gorgeous armor pieces on

I kinda like the female light armor, it is interesting even if I was hoping for some pants.
Heavy is also nice…

Medium is another trench coat >.<. kitten’s up with AN and trench coats seriously? Looks funny though, female human at least, like a cyborg from some b-movie.

Hey, the light armor looks like kittening kitten on males, especially on charr.

Obviously, though, it looks great on females. For kitten’s sake Anet, spend more than two minutes designing the light armor on men.

Unfortunately, as much as the new armors are awesome, we have another Heavy helmet that is shaving Norns and Humans clean. For kitten’s sake, let us keep our beards on those open helmets! I do hope it’s corrected before those are released.

Seriously, whoever designs medium armor. Stop with the trenchcoats. The rest of it looks great.

The more I preview the light female armor, the more I like it!

As someone that always wanted a Thief using more than leather, this is so beautiful. Medium armor done right, it’s not a heavy full chainmail/plate armor but it has a good mix of defense on it.

Cosmetic rules of this game:
1. Trenchcoats are medium armor,
2. Medium armor are trenchcoats.
3. Elegance and majesty all go to female light armor,
4. Stylish male light armor is nowhere to be found.

That being said, the medium armor does looks awesome, and us male spellcasters are lucky enough to have a decent (read: not completely bland nor filled with ugly details) armor set coming in the near future. It’s not the best thing ever for us, but it’s not offensive either. And the mantle is nice.

Pfsh, i’m not a big fan of loose ‘fixed floating’ feathers. They defy gravity and fashion in one fell swoop.

Light armor once again looks the best.

give medium males something that is NOT as trench coat. I am getting so sick of trench coats. Don’t any of the game designers have any imagination at all or do they just have a template and stick some decoration on the same stupid trench coat every time they make “new” armor?

Please hire some new designers and give us a shirt, a jacket, a vest or ANYTHING that is NOT a trench coat!

Light armour male is just… and afterthought. It’s so similar to sets we have already and it’s got far less love and detail than Kasmeer’s set. Sad.

What? The pants -might- be similar to other light armor sets we already have, but the chest, shoulders, and boots are entirely unique and have plenty of detail.

You know I love the new medium skirt/boots I just really don’t get why they had to cover it up with a trench coat. (It’s not a bad looking coat, but we have enough coats already and about 1 option if you don’t want a coat hanging past your butt).

If you think Norn is the worst, don’t preview them on an asura… the horns on the heavy helmet look HUGE on them (which is actually making me want to get one for my asura warrior)..
