It seems only 8 out of the 10 recipes that use Vial of Condensed Mist Essence were replicated for Bloodstone with the two that didn’t make it being Yakkington and Thousand Arrows (the ex-MF versions where you can choose which stats you want).

I appreciate that the MF item stat is now redundant but if it’s still possible to make these backpieces using a Vial of Condensed Mist Essence giving us the ability to choose the stat combination that we want, then I don’t understand why the bloodstone option wasn’t implemented for these two?

Sorry but the vial version doesn’t work anymore either … I guess Anet doesn’t want choosable stat combinations … If only I bought the missing claws from the TP right before the patch *sigh *

Hmm well in that case I suppose fair enough but it does then raise the question as to why not all stat combinations are covered. Eg. Celestial. Ho hum.

Well thats a bummer.
Few days ago i dragged myself trough fractals to get a vial so i could make a celestial backpiece, hope it gets fixed eventually.

This would make me sad too. I’ve been slowly accumulating the ingredients I need for a Celestial Ascended backpiece too. I was missing only the Vicious Claws. If there’s any ANet reps reading this, do you have plans to bring it back? Even using a modified recipe where Charged Quartz crystals are used instead of Claws? (Not 250 Charged Quartz though. That would just be crazy. Maybe 10 or 15?)

If it’s not coming back, then you have a situation where there are players in the game with a particular backpiece stat spread that nobody else can get anymore. Not exactly fair. (Unless these players are going to get their Thousand Arrows and Yakkington books changed to a new stat spread, which I imagine wouldn’t make them very happy either.)

Okay tried the vial recipe today and you can combine them in the forge again. Still need ~100 claws though … xD

i made vial version last night, and was able to choose my stats.

Better not to ask for bloodstone version, though, or they will really disable the vial one as well.

As I said in my previous post ^^ And i finally got the last claws thanks to my guild members and combined it a few minutes ago (vial version)^^
