I’ve been doing the dailies every day since they came out, but I’m also pretty sure I’ve only been doing the new dailies. But my Monthly Completionist percent hasn’t gone past 75%. Is this something I’m doing wrong, that they set up wrong, or something else entirely?

I suspect they didn’t spend time recoding the monthly to work with the new daily system. It is after all only sticking around this month, and then being retired. Reprogramming for the new dailies would have been a waste of developer time.

I have to seriously question how much developer time it would have taken to do that. Especially considering I’ve only been doing the new dailies as far as I’m aware, and it got to 75%

Dailies never really worked on monthlies.. I thought monthlies was kill like x amount of champ mobs, ect ect.

There has been a Daily Completionist portion of the Monthly for several months now. It’s the only one I could reliably get. It required doing the Daily 4 times.

. . . yeah, it hasn’t been triggered by the new system. Which stinks because it means I won’t have time to finish December.

Oh well. Not really sweating it, just irritated.

Technically, monthlies no longer exist. Anet being nice and letting people finish out this month if they wish.

What would be the point? Monthlies are basically gone.

I want to get the last monthly. If it had worked, I would have it. Because it doesn’t work, I don’t know if I’ll make it.

There is a known issue where the monthly numbers are not rising. As you may be aware, monthly achievements awards are going away at the end of December, as mentioned in the blog post about the new Daily System.

Given that the feature will end in just 8 days, and taking into consideration that there are certain risk factors related to any bug fix, the team has determined that they will not be fixing the short-term situation with the monthly achievements for this month.

Have you done the 12 JP’s option, Kal Spiro? That’s usually a good fast monthly achieve, and should be even easier with all the mesmer ports to ornament chests right now.

I can get you up 12 JP’s quite quickly tomorrow if you’re on NA and available between noon and 5 Eastern time.

That’s always the first one I do, with 13 characters parked on JPs
