New Daily System creating problems
You don’t understand the system.
You get laurels for logging in. You don’t need to do the dailies to get laurels. Finishing a daily awards a chest and three dailies awards 10 AP.
Laurels, Mystic Coins, etc are awarded for logging in. If you “miss” a day, you don’t miss out on that day’s reward. You get it the next time you do log in.

It is the opposite in my opinion.
1. The new dailies usually takes a short time if you are ready to play different game modes. If you don’t have time, try to take the easiest option like a checking a vista. Most WvW options are also easy. Sometimes they get harder, but perhaps you should check something else.
2. What level are you? you can get approx 2-3 gold by running a single dungeon path. That will be enough to travel around for a while if you find the cost of travelling expensie.
3. There is no way you could get 10 A-points with the old system if you can’t get them with the current one. Getting 10 A-points is much easier now and can take up 5-15 mins compared to the old +1 hour.
4. It is mostly very casual rewards. What matters is the A-points. If you aren’t interested of the A-points, you probably shouldn’t bother.
5. If you miss a day, you will gain the login-reward the day after. There is nothing called ‘’I missed the laurels’‘, you will get them 1 day later.
6. Login-system isn’t the same as the Daily system. You don’t get laurels by finishing dailies anylonger. So if you don’t want to do dailies for A-points, you shoudn’t bother as mentioned because you will get laurels through the login-system.
Personally, I think this system makes it easier to finish dailies overall. If anything, it needs more variation when it comes to the tasks but otherwise, I am okay with it.
If I can’t game on night when laurels (or coins, etc) are the reward, then I don’t get laurels for a long time. Whereas, if I missed one night, I only lose one laurel.
you get more laurels from daily log ins now (I think I’ve seen bag of 10 laurels 4 times in there?) and if you miss a day it doesn’t reset.
The PvE option that is coming up often is “Fractal – level specific”. Fractals take a lot of time. This is another “specialist” player daily, further excluding average player participation.
I have never seen it be above 20 (I’ve seen 1 to 10 and 10 to 20 though), those two level specific ones require no ascended gear, so while they’re time consuming, it’s not worse than putting let’s say a dungeon run of arah in there. Though more choice is really needed.
I don’t see any benefit with the new system of getting dailies
for me the benefit is that combining Spvp with PVE it makes it really speedy for me to finish. But like I already said, more variety is desperately needed.
4. It is mostly very casual rewards. What matters is the A-points.
the rewards for Spvp dailies are awesome as they speed up your reward track and from what I’ve seen getting gatherer is nice too as that loves to give me T6 materials.
I’d like to throw out some suggestions to balance the new system, or at least point a direction to consider. 1) Whichever Boss Champ is picked should scale up enough to last long enough for players to get some hits in; better yet, don’t make it Champ specific – zergs will be smaller and player can fit boss into the players schedule. 2) Find a way to compensate all the wp’ng needed looking for events in an area. 3) Fractal option should not be included unless more options are available – so have 5 options to pick from, not four. 4) Think of some way to reduce the time spent of dailies. There are many other things I’d rather be doing. 5) Laurels and coins should be daily, not periodically. 6) Open daily “cross” gaming between PvE, PvP and WvW; this current system is funneling people into specializing instead of providing incentive to explore areas of the game.
The daily achievements have awards tied to them to reward players for doing that particular task. Just about all of the rewards from the old system as been moved so that you get them for simply logging on. You do not miss out on anything if you cannot login for a night. All that’s left is the AP. If you don’t care about AP, you don’t have to do the daily.
The daily achievements were made easier to complete and you now only need to complete 3 of them. Doing this rewards 10 AP whereas you would have had to do 10 achievements before. It’s a pretty good deal. For those that don’t have the time to do the achievements, they can now be done in under 10 minutes. I’ve completed the daily in a couple minutes a few times.
There’s not really a lack of choices as we had 12 options before and we still have 12 options now. If players want to hinder themselves by refusing to do PvP and WvW then that’s their own prerogative.

1. I agree with you on that one.
2. No comment, you are either new or you don’t know how to get money.
3. More options are needed.
4. You can finish dailies in 5-15 mins if you have enough knowledge.
5. Won’t happen from Anet’s side.
4) The PvE option that is coming up often is “Fractal – level specific”. Fractals take a lot of time. This is another “specialist” player daily, further excluding average player participation
That’s purely a matter of opinion. Fractals 1-9 you can, if you arent a blithering fool, complete with five level 10s* for crying out loud. Assuming you have a guild that does guild missions regularly, you’ve got commendations to buy ascended accessories with. LE GASP! You suddenly have 10 agony resistance provided you run a full fractal set once a day for 3 days. This means you can now do fractals 10-19 with ease. Dont have a guild? Easy, spend laurels and Badges for the amulet, viola, 5 AR. Did LS2? Viola, you’ve got (SHOULD) have mawdrey completed. That’s another 5 AR. Got commendations, laurels, AND mawdrey? You’ve got enough AR to get yourself to 30+ fractals and personal reward levels.
The rest of your post I dont give a kitten about. But this utter kitten about “fractals is tu herd” needs to stop. I have run 40+ fractals with no AR before because friends wouldnt accept “no” as an answer. Did I die a lot? Yes, mostly to Agony Checks than bosses themselves. Now I’m sitting on 100+ AR for kittens n grins, and regularly do fractals when I can harass people into them from my guild’s TS. I pugged Fractal 1s as casual teaching runs before.
They’re only hard if you dont put in the effort or dont want to. If that’s the case, I dont want to see you posting on the forums about how low-level scrub-friendly, kitten near soloable fractals are difficult. Run Cliffside on a 49 when you’re the only heavy in the group, then you can post about fractals being difficult.
*This was previously true, no idea if NPE changed this, or by how much
I don’t find the WvW easy Dailies difficult at all. Big Spender? You don’t have to set foot outside where you portal in. Ruins Master? There is very, very rarely anyone near your home ruins, anyone can stand in the circle solo. No fighting involved. It’s pretty easy to take down a Dolyak or capture a Camp.
So, it really isn’t difficult to get the 3 required Dailies if you choose the 2 easy ones from PvE, and one of the easy ones from WvW.
I don’t waypoint to events…just hang around Renown Hearts or go where you know events spawn. I usually use either a lower-level character to get some Map Completion in, or a L80 that hasn’t finished that map. Though, as a tip, it is easier with a character that has completed the map, as the event finder won’t point you to any Map Completion areas.
The New Dailies seem fine to me, and much more rewarding.

not required though as under the old system you would earn your rings running fractals 10 to 19 without any resistance.

sure your health will tick, but you can manage this kind of ticking.
Logging in replaced the old dailys system and they added in another system to rewarded doing content.
Guild : OBEY (The Legacy) I call it Obay , TLC (WvW) , UNIV (other)
Server : FA
For an old player with a level 80 char that has most of the important maps and wps unlocked, the dailies are actually pretty easy. I merely spend about 10 minutes a day doing them, and thats doing purely the PvE ones.
Though, if you’re a new player, I can see how the dailies are going to be quite a bit harder.
New daily system is superior in every way to me. I get full AP just by doing a few things that I want to do, and I get far more rewards from daily login (more laurels, exotic boxes, etc.) As far as not being able to get credit on a world boss, I don’t even know what to say. Even jungle worm takes about 45 seconds to kill.
