New Enameled Dyes?
A tiny change in one of these areas of color:
Hue
Saturation
Lightness
And an appropriate new name!

Unless you play on a $500 monitor with max settings… nothing is different about these dyes in any practical sense of the word.
They are mostly for collectors.
sorry for the bump, but i just noticed there’s quite a big difference: (ocean vs enameled sky)
The enameled dyes effectiveness depends on what material it’s on. For example, it works well on the new lumi armor because of how saturated it is.
So…yea…
(ruby on left, enameled crimson on right)
Sorin’s post was incredibly misleading. They only previewed the dyes on the first dye slot, which we couldn’t determine if it covers a big area, or just the trimmings of the armor. I have Enameled Crimson dye and it has a beautiful tone compared to the normal dyes which looks very one dimensional.
It’s not the “tone”. In general, the difference between normal and gemshop dyes is that the first ones cover the whole color area equally, while the gemshops are gradiented/shaded. The base colour may be exactly the same, but visually in most cases the second option looks way better.
So yes, there’s a big difference. Though it’s nothing new, as this thread is a necro.

Enameled dyes have higher saturation than every other dyes. They look fantastic on the luminescence set. http://i.imgur.com/efQZ2Uy.jpg

Nothing looks good on luminescence set, but i admit that they make it look less bad than other colour choices.

Well, I couldn’t capture the color shift but I assure you it’s amazing
