Okay so any chance of getting confirmation on whether or not the new legendaries will require the old legendaries to make? Will there be a way to trade to the new ones for a brief time? Completely seperate? I dont care WHEN they come out but Im 1 dusk away from making eternity….and I don’t want to make and equip it if something better looking comes out and I wasted 3000 gold worth.

Just curious what method even if it is completely seperate from old legendaries I don’t mind just want to know whether to bother with this eternity etc =)

Yea I have a feeling it may just be new different stuff etc…its not that I want whats better so I mays well never go for it its just we know new legendaries are being worked on, we’ve seen pics of the new staff already for example…I’d bet within the next 4 months they’ll come out, I kinda don’t want to get eternity soulbound then not use it thats all =(

Easy easy choice… craft it… don’t equip til new legendaries come out .. if you like the new ones sell the eternity and get the new one… I’m sure if you can afford to craft an eternity you can afford to make a weapon to take its place for a couple months if this whole idea is really wearing on you a lot.

He could use both twilight and sunrise right now, and if he likes new legendaries combine them for sale later.

The ones anet mentioned in the “What’s coming in 2013” post back in late 2012.

would anyone like to hazard a guess that they postponed this in favor of giving us Ascended Armors?

Even if they did postpone it im okay with that, I know they’ll come out when they are ready. =)

We should get more new info about new Legendaries in next year or 1 month from blog post Looking Ahead of 2014

Since there are no new features coming in the next 4 updates, new legendary weapons won’t be seen until at least march. So you have plenty of time to decide what to do.

Remember though, if the new legendary weapons are liked the prices for the current legendary weapons will most likely fall 20-30%.

Depends if new legendary looks nicer/flashier than old ones (to the majority).
