I like the idea where you can get any mini you have unlocked where ever you go now. But I kinda think is unfair for those that spent a lot of in game gold to purchase these minis to get the achievement only to find out that they will not have those minis anymore.

I kept my mini for a very long time but only couple of weeks ago I sold them since they had no use to me. Now after this article not only will the price rise but the minis will be destroyed. Now I have to reinvest my money to unlock further achievements and minis all over again

There should be some method to unlock the minis you previously owned.

As some may know, I have been hacked 4 times now. The last time I have not been re-rolled. I lost all my minis bar the account bound ones. Will I have to buy all of these yet again or will they automatically be unlocked? The achievements I have gained from the mini unlocks still stand, even though I no longer have the minis themselves.

Well according to the blog you will have to buy it alllllll over again.
