New Music in Expansion or Earlier
You can, if you own them, place the WoW tracks in the music file and listen to them while playing this game.
PS – I do not share your opinion that WoW’s music is better than GW2’s. I think this game’s soundtrack is every bit as good as WoW’s.
You should google how to play your crappy music taste into guild wars 2. There are officially supported methods to play whatever crappy song you enjoy in guild wars 2.
Just messing with you about the crappy music taste.
This is an mmo forum, if someone isn’t whining chances are the game is dead.
Considering that they’ve been giving us new music & themes for almost every patch, I think we can continue to expect new music

Well, I love both the music of World of Warcraft and Guild Wars 2. World of Warcraft has that epic, nostalgic and catchy themes. Guild Wars 2 on the other hand has that amazing, epic and high-fantasy themes. In other words, both OSTs are really great!
Going back to the topic, OP, there is a big chance for new music in the future. If I know ArenaNet, it’s their development of new things each time an update releases (By update, I mean patches or expansions)
…the only thing I think it has over GW2 is the absolutely amazing music.
Well, raids, but yea, I couldn’t agree much more. Vanilla WoW’s music was absolutely amazing, infusing (pardon) areas with tons of flavor with usually only three or four different short tunes.
GW2’s music was a disappointment to me. IMO, Soule thematically peaked on Skyrim anyway, and ANet shouldn’t have ordered “loud, brash and generic fantasy fare” from him. I replaced it with a long playlist which includes big selections of WoW, Skyrim, the LOTR movies, the BBC/HBO series Rome, and a handful of tracks by Aphex Twin, Lustmord and some others. There’s about three original GW2 tracks on there too, my absolute favorite being the off-beat and off-key bard lalala’ing – priceless.
The Guild Wars 2 score is excellent. I absolutely love the ‘Straits of Devastation’ track and kinda wish we’d have more like that.
I was actually hoping there would be music relative to the Fable soundtrack. Specifically the tracks we hear in towns:

That stuff fits so good when milling around towns and getting into the community of something like Divinity’s Reach or Lion’s Arch and possibly Rata Sum.

The boss battle music is actually really good. I just thought I’d throw these into a mix anyways. xD

Yes, as a matter of fact they implemented your very own custom music.
What you do is download the OSD from lets say Final fantasy and place the boss battle music.
