Guild Wars 2

First and Foremost Welcome to Guild Wars 2!

I wanted to take a moment to invite anyone who is new to Guild Wars 2 to join us this weekend (11/29) at 9:30AM PST in Queensdale for our very first Guild Wars 2 101 and Social Hour event. This event will take place every Saturday Morning from 9:30AM – 12:30PM PST. Here’s the event lineup:

9:30AM – 10:30AM: Guild Wars 2 101: Orientation & Getting to know the world.
This week we will cover how to get from your starting zone to Lions Arch and the other starting zones as well as how to get to WvW before level 18. There will be a small welcome gift for all characters under level 20 who are experiencing Guild Wars 2 for the first time. Following weeks will cover the basics of condition fields, the various event types, jumping puzzles, waypoint runs, hidden mini-bosses, and help players learn the basics about building a solid character build. Players from all servers are welcome.

10:30AM – 11:30AM: Social Hour with Sanctum of Rall
Join us for a rotation of fun and casual friendly events ranging from Living Story events, Dragon & Boss hunts, Jumping Puzzle, Mini-Dungeons, Rare Event Hunts, Introduction to Guild Missions, and More. Come share some fun times, laughs and fill those bags with shineys. Players from all servers are welcome.

11:30AM – 12:30PM: Sanctum of Rall Meet-The-Commanders in WvW
All levels are welcome for this massive gathering of familiar faces on the WvW battleground. Each week commanders will take a different small team for some small scale teaching sessions to help new players learn the mechanics of WvW. Each week players can rotate leaders to get to know all of the various personalities and leading styles on the Sanctum of Rall Battlefield. You must be home to Sanctum of Rall to participate in this segment of the event.

Thanks Teon, it should be a pretty fun run. We’ve been testing it for the past few weeks and have gotten a pretty good turnout. Lot of new people coming into the game with the sales going on.
